The Partners
There is no large corporation or organization behind Arthritis Insight. We are a simple three-person partnership created with one goal in mind, to combine our skills and insights to bring you the best arthritis related site on the web.
Tina Underwood
Tina is a 34-year-old wife and mother of two living in Ohio. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis four years ago, she soon found that arthritis and a nursing career don't mix well. After leaving her job she created the award winning ArthritisNet to help others deal with life with arthritis.
Tina will share with us the unique insights that only a young mother with
severe arthritis can have. She also brings a wealth of knowledge about arthritis and the internet and her Cecil award winning journalistic style that many have missed over the last several months.?
Tina will be writing many of the articles you will read on Arthritis Insight, as a nurse her medical background comes in handy when translating medical information into layman's terms. Many of you know her as Krissy Jo, she will continue to be very active in the internet arthritis community. Always available to Arthritis Insight Community members, you'll usually find her in the Arthritis Insight Chatroom and messages boards and hanging out in alt.support.arthritis.?
John Cirullo
John is a 56-year-old grandfather of four from Ohio. He has dealt with gout, osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis for several years. He recently retired after owning the largest steel erection company in Northeast Ohio.
He brings the unique insights of an active man living with multiple forms of arthritis. He also brings his incredible business knowledge and
skills to Arthritis Insight.
John is the behind the scenes guy at Arthritis Insight, you won't see him in the Arthritis Insight Community, but rest assured he is out there lurking.
Ron Griffin
Ron is a 54-year-old father of 3 young children living in Indiana. He has battled rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis for a couple of years. His educational background includes a BA Degree in the Humanities and a Law Degree. Ron is also a Certified Mediator. He has spent the last 21 years with the U.S. Department of the Interior working with and managing the oversight of large regulatory programs.?
Ron will provide the unique insights of a father and avid outdoors enthusiast with multiple types of arthritis. He will provide periodic special interest articles for both the newsletter and the site. You never know what topic may interest him next.?
Ron brings significant internet research experience. He also worked with ArthritisNet as a chat moderator.?
You will find Ron easily accessible and actively participating in the Arthritis Insight Community. While continuing his employment with the Department of the Interior, he will also keep busy managing the business aspects of running a large web site.
