GADGETS GALORE
A purchase I make without thinking twice
is that of a "labour-saving" device.
The gadgets I buy are designed to pitch in
and help me when I am in the kitchen.
My cupboards are crammed with grinders and choppers,
Waffle irons and popcorn poppers,
Chafing dishes and cocktail shakers,
Bread machines and ice cream makers,
Omelet pans and vegetable steamers,
Pepper mills and butter creamers,
a honey pot in the shape of a hive,
and, of course, a set of Ginsu knives.
They sit cheek by jowl on all of the shelves,
(I think that they propagate by themselves!);
My collection of gadgets is so incredible,
I no longer have room for anything edible!
