Open Other End
Around every corner in each neighborhood,
There's a store that is littered with dangerous goods.
There are packages ranged on all of the shelves
that you'd swear were designed by malevolent elves.
We purchase these items without giving pause
to think of the damage that each one could cause,
The box may have cereal, toothpaste or soap in it,
But you'll probably hurt yourself trying to open it!
"Pull tab to open", I understand
and then when the tab comes off in your hand,
Go to the kitchen to get a sharp knife,
And find yourself scarred for the rest of your life.
Consumers rise up, consider the virtue
of buying a product that's not going to hurt you,
Demand that the packaging process be changed
Before one more innocent victim is maimed.
