Raven CAN Paint
Both my parents went to art school so I grew up
with lots of markers, paint, etc. My Dad invented little drawing games. In grade school while other kids were playing soccer I was taking drawing lessons. I was a fine arts major in college also. I like the idea of artwork as a forum of personal expression and as something to interact in your daily life. If you can hang a painting on the wall why not turn a car, your kitchen table, or your favorite jacket into a painting? Painting is meditative process for me. When I'm completely focused on what I'm working on I can get lost in it. My mind clears, I feel more whole and capable when I'm painting. It's also a way for me to express things I can't find words for.
