Stolen Moments
A poem I wrote about being a mom with RA by Lynae Stevens aka littlered110
A sweet little girl playing blocks on the floor
I watch from the couch but I want to do more
So slowly I try to get down on my knees
But arthritis has stolen this moment from me.
But all of her friends are gone for the day
So she says "Chase me mommy, what fun this will be".
Once again arthritis stole the moment from me.
Said "Mommy please give me a bath before bed."
One simple task, how hard could that be?
But once again arthritis stole the moment from me.
Scattered around us are the books that we've read.
Snuggled together this is how it should be.
Arthritis can never steal this moment from me.
