Other Stuff: I was diagnosed with RA in December 2001. My rheumatologist wants me to consider going on Arava at my next visit (May), but I have reserarched this drug and because of all the controversy, I am not favorable toward trying it. I still have days when I feel so "gelled" I move in slow motion and get very fatigued, even though I appear o.k. I am caregiver for my Mom (85), our grandaughter (5) after school, and our grandson (2) one 24Hr. period each week. I volunteer almost full time for a nonprofit, which works to change the lives of underserved women through a faith based holistic life/job skills program. I am pianist for my church, also. I've always been a positive person, but now I find myself (at times) hopeless and depressed when I think about insurance issues, drug costs, physical limitations and how all these thins will affect my whole family, currently and in the future.
