Other stuff: I have had RA since I was 10 years old. When I was 16, I was put in a body cast from armpits to ankles. This caused both knees and hips to become stiff and I have not been able to bend them since. Although I have had surgery on my right knee and hip twice and once on my left knee, they were not successful p to a point. I walk with the aid of crutches. Some days my hands, shoulders and elbows give me a lot of trouble and make difficult to move about and I continue trying. I do my own housework, cooking, shopping and attend church almost every Sunday. Until last year I was coordinaator of our Sunday School program. ( My church merged with another church and it's more difficult getting around on its campus.)
