Other stuff: I got married 18 months ago and we retired to Missouri Ozarks. My new name is Sloan, & hubby reads everything he can find about RA to better understand me. Hand surgery was in Springfield, Mo one month ago. I'm not sure I'd do that again; its pretty painful (still). I am scheduled to begin Remicade and am looking forward to more energy. Also my orthopedic surgeon said my pain in the hip is due to spinal problems; the hips look fine. He recommended pain mgmt clinic, but I want to start the Remicade first. It helps to have my sweet supportive husband. Sue
