I've had Osteoarthritis for 30
years now. God how have I survived! It eventually caused me to lose both
hip joints, and things seemed to workout.
Then came the muscle cramps. Muscle cramps so bad I wanted to cut off my
legs just to stop the pain. They seem to have disappeared now, but none
the less I live in mortal fear of them. Now the muscle cramps seek
another target to torment me with The upper body area. I've had them in
my hands, fingers, neck and the back. These I know when they will
strike. Every time they think I did too much. Just like the leg cramps
that use to throw me to the for in agony, these too have there way of crippling
me. What do you do with your hand and arm in the air when the pain so
bad that you can't move it? How do you explain to the good Samaritans
around you that it's a pain in your back, when your in so much agony
that your praying to God for mercy? Pain pills. You mean the NSAIDS. Oh
yes I took those, didn't help the cramps, though I now have a 17% Kidney
to show you for taking them. I don't take anything for pain now. I am to
the point that I now expect to BEG the HMO for a motorized Wheelchair.
Wish me luck. Pray if you want. Maybe I am the only one he doesn't
listen to. Thank You.
