About a year ago I awoke with a
stiff neck and shoulder. The weather was
in flux so I attributed it to that. It finally was so bad that I
couldn't turn my head (driving was hazardous) I went to a walk-in clinic
and the MD said to take alleve. I did and it helped a little but I found
myself taking 6 or 8 tablets a day. A chiropractor helped after about 8
visits and massages. But eventually it started coming back. I went to a
rheumatologist. Fibromyalgia was the culprit. With flexeril, minimal
paxil and presr. alleve I am now pain free. My own MD hadn't a clue as
to what caused the neck and shoulder pain. I have changed doctors.
