Hi My name is Paulette and have had JRA since age three and am now 47. I was lucky to have been married. I have three wonderful children now but the husband left for a "Normal" girl. You can imagine how I felt. It's all because of this horrible diseases. I hat having it. I feel like an ugly thing. Everyone stares at me and most wonder how I get around. Of course I don't' look in the mirror every day and tell myself how awful I look because taking care of three children two of which are retarded keeps me too busy. But I am short, and crippled from this and I know my limitations. I drive and get around but because of how I look I can't even get a job. I would love to have some friends with JAR just to let me know I'm not alone!
