Tammy
Tammy
Hi. My name is Tammy, I am 30 years old. I was told I have RA Oct 2001. I have had a hard time dealing with it. I have 2 little girls ages, 4 and 2. My husband is Active duty in the Navy so he is hardly around to lend support.
I started out almost 2 years ago with my shoulder bothering me. I woke up one morning and I could hardly lift it. Then my feet and my wrists started bothering me. Went to the navy DR's and they just gave me advil. Finally I went to a Civilian Rhum and she told me what was wrong with me. I am on Meth. and Celebrex and plaquenel. I still am not feeling better. I have more "bad " days then "good" ones. But, I think it makes you appreciate the "good" ones better. The thing that really gets me down is the days I am to "tired " to really play with my girls.
Will I ever be like my old self again????? I am so glad I found this site. It makes me realize I am not alone .
