My name is Terry-Lea. I am a 44 yr.old woman who has A.S., Fibro, R.A. & O.S. I was diagnosed 11 years ago. I also had J.R.A. when I was a young teen. I had decided at age 38 that I would not live any longer with the pain, my brother who als had R.A. had committed suicide at age 39 and I was following his path. I was on so many meds at the time I could not get out of bed. My 39th birthday was two weeks away and I recieved a call from my oldest daughter. I was going to be a Grandma!!!!! I decided that day that I had to stick around, get off the heavy meds, and live to see my grandchild. Today I have two grandchildren, my four year old "angel" and a three month old grandson.I am only taking immuran. and I am "up and about". I have a very loving supportive family, and wonderful internet friends and sites that help me when I do get the blues. I take one day at a time, and try to enjoy the life my diseases have given me.
