Hello my name is Vickie Love aka Vick. I'm not very good at this, but I will give it a try.

I am forty two yrs. old. I am married to a wonderful man, his name is james, we met in Aug. of 1994. This is my second marriage, had been divorced for ten yrs. after meeting him at my yard sale in Aug. We married in Sept. on his birthday, the 17th, have been happily married for over 8 yrs now.

I have one son, from my first marriage. His name is Dale, he's 24 and the most thoughtful son a mother could have. I have two step sons, the oldest of the two Daniel is 22, married to a great gal. She's a wonderful mother of two. Lydia and Logan. They are the light of my life. The youngest one Wesley is a different story altogether.

Now, here is what I can remember. I have always been very active. Was a cheerleader in HS, as well as the band. I roller skated for over 13 yrs. I always loved dancing. Anyway, when I was 35, I fell at work. I was pulling a float in the garden dept. were I worked. It pinned me between a table a board flew up, came down and hit my ankle, then I hit the ground. They sent me home. By the next morning I couldn't walk. Went to the ER. They sent me home with crutches, and to see an ortho dr. in two weeks. So here I go. By the time I saw him I was in the most horrible pain of my life. He said it was from walking on crutches for two weeks! I went to dr after dr. nothing wrong. of course they were all workman's comp.

Finally, Kmart refused to pay any more medical bills, but I knew something was wrong. So I hired a lawyer. The day we went to court, they settled, my lawyer convinced me to take it. Boy was that a mistake. So the saga continues. This was settled in 1996. I had gone through therapy, and prayed alot. One good thing out of all of this. it put me flat of my back and I finally looked up. I accepted Christ in June of 1996. What a blessing that was. I did better for a while. At first my pain was worse in the winter, but I could work. I was now working as a dj for a southern gospel radio station. It was wonderful. I loved it. But my Nov. of 1997 I was seeing drs.again..all I could find out was nothing. They just said it's all in your head. Finally a rd in Jan. of 1998, so he briefly checked me out and said I had fibro and oa. In the meantime, I found I also had spinal stenosis.and osteoporosis. Anyway, I try almost every anti. that was on the market. nothing helped, but continued to get worse. I felt in my heart it was ra, and i believe my rd did too. but there was no ra factor in my blood and he would not dx or try medication for it. I went a yr without seeing a rd at all. Just my pcp and finally she recommended a new rd that had just moved into town. Now after seeing him less that a yr. I have finally been dx. with sero-neg. ra and sjogrens also asthma.
