Home Featured Discussion

There is so much to learn about arthritis and so many lifestyle issues to explore. In our Featured Discussion, we will explore many aspects of arthritis and delve into lifestyle issues. Every so often we will feature a new topic!

We're hoping that with the new year we can once again begin to offer our Featured Discussion. We're going to need your help. After a couple years we put a hold on these discussions not because we didn't want to do them, but because we ran of topics to discuss.

In our first attempt to bring this section back to life we'd like to discuss a couple of the newer drugs. If you're using Kineret or Humira, please take a few moments to answer the survey. If you'd like to take it one step further and are willing to answer questions about your experience with one of these drugs, we'd love to have you in the chatroom for a Tuesday night Feature Chat.

We'd also like to spend some time discussing antibiotic therapy and alternative medicines. We're always looking for professionals in different arthritis related fields who are willing to spend an hour with our members in the chatroom answering questions. If you know someone who would be willing to do the chat or have experience with these treatments and would like to submit an article, drop us a line!

ACR Scientific Meeting 2003
From October 23 thru October 28, The American College of Rheumatology will be holding it's Annual Scientific Meeting. This year it is being held in Orlando. This meeting brings together physicians, researchers, patient educators and other health care professionals with an interest in rheumatology from around the world. Check in frequently, we'll be keeping track of all the news as it becomes available.
