Many of you wanted to know about the long term side effects of the new drugs, Celebrex, Vioxx, Enbrel, Remicade, etc. I wish we could provide you with that information. But no one knows. There are many guesses but no concrete information. No one has been on these drugs long enough to experience any long term effects. My crystal ball is a bit cloudy today, so we are just going to have to wait and see.
Others wanted basic information on those new drugs. We covered that in last week's Featured Discussion: Rheumatoid Arthritis. If you missed it, here is a link, go check it out:
feature/RA/recent.html
So what will we cover in this weeks Featured Discussion? We'll talk about some ways you can make sure your medications are working to their fullest potential. We'll explore the different drug categories, and we'll dig up information on some of the drugs mentioned in the survey
responses that aren't already listed in our Medication Index and more. Check back everyday so you won't miss a thing.
