Are You Willing to Try It?

You tried what???

You have to admit, there are some pretty strange remedies for arthritis out there. We'll spend this week of the 18th talking about the strange, silly and stupid remedies we've tried.

Let's start by finding out just how apt you are to try those strange treatments. We asked: How willing are you to try off the wall treatments? Why or why not? And you said:

Not very.
I'm the oldest of a very large family, and the fact that I am ill distresses them all greatly. After all, I'm supposed to be in charge. <G>
So, if they want me to try something, I check with my rheumatologist, and, if it won't hurt me, I do it.
I'm an MRI technologist - and I'm REALLY skeptical about alternative meds. -LR

I am very willing as long as it is not fattening or dangerous!!!!!! -FK

I am ready to try almost everything. -K

I am will to try just about anything. As long as not allergic to it. -PO

Off the wall remedies sometimes appear to be the most expensive. -BM

Might as well...when nothing works and pain is so bad, you'll try anything...almost. -I

willing -PD

not willing at all, I'm a born skeptic you see,lol -B

Sure why not. You can never tell what just might work. -EB

Not at all. It's not me who has arthritis, but my son, so I don't feel comfortable taking any unnecessary risks. I'm wary enough of the commonly prescribed meds, though I have good access to information coming out of clinical trials. -G

very willing; why? pain at times is unbearable -EK

Hmm...pretty varied response. Some of us will, some of us won't. Me? Well, I might try it, after I've researched it and discussed it with me doctor, but there's got to be some proof that it works and my scientific mind wants to know how it work. But, that said, I have tried some pretty weird things!

Join us everyday this week as we talk more about strange remedies.
