I HATED those slippers.  The lack of support was the main problem.  The other thing was that after they were on for a little while they were mushed flat.  They recover after taking them off, but while wearing them they are useless.

Now I do love my UGG slippers.  Well worth the money.  I'd have to look up the style, they have several. La

I've never heard about people having those issues .. we have never.  I' open it every few months and air out the innards...  which amounts to taking the zipper all the way around and laying the top open..  I do that when I give my room a good cleaning...  just air it.. hard to explain, but the foam isn't the kind that holds moisture.. it's porous and it is only around the edges... My husband would Freak!! if we had mold.. he's Mr. Allergy-prone !!

I've done that at least 2x a year since I bought it in Jan 2000 ...... it is still exactly the same as it was the day I bought it..  not a difference.. no sag.. no lack of support..

I want to get another when I have a spare bedroom.. (whenYDD moves out LOL) and then I'll invite you to spend the night!!!  you can try for yourself..

Haven't read this entire thread.....but wanted to sing the praises of my sleep number bed also. WE bought the big buck adjustable king size one and it's the best money we've ever spent. I've enjoyed it everyday since I got it. I was iffy about spending the extra for the adjustable; but it was WELL worth the cost.

I use to have terrible trouble sleeping and would get up several times a night always in pain. I am happy to report that I sleep through the entire night and rarely if ever even get up to go to the bathroom.

I've never heard of that cleaning thing either.

I really want the adjustable bed. The Hampton Inn bed does not come in adjustable.
The Tempurpedic does. Thanks everyone.

I watch TV in my bed at night. It's about the only place in the house I can get comfortable sometimes. I highly recommend the adjustable no matter what bed you go with....although I love the sleep number. I have a friend that has a tempuredic though and loves it too.

I really want the adjustable also Lovie, The Tempurpedic has a king bed that is split in the middle, when the bed is flat you can not tell there is a split. I like to read, watch tV and use my Laptop in bed , but I can not stay comfortable for long I use bed pillow and feather pillows tucked here and there, very tiresome adjusting and re-adjusting all the time.

I think the adjustable will help me to get out of bed on those mornigs that are difficult.
We are going to go back to the store this weekend, I am getting excited about having a new bed. I hope I can talk DH into the extra exspense of an adjustable, I'll have to have my best sells pitch readyEmbarrassedWink

Do the sleep number beds make noise? I slept on one at a raddison and I swear it made a bunch of noise. Other than that it was really comfy. I wouldn't mind having one of those!

My husband and I sleep in separate bedrooms because I love to stay up late and read, and he loves to go to sleep early and snore.LOL  In addition, the entire main floor apartment of our house (it's a deconverted 2-flat) is a man-cave.  With 2 boys and a husband, I am outnumbered, and I need my own QUIET girly space to escape the testosterone haze.ConfusedWink  When I first took my own room upstairs, I slept on a full-size Aerobed on the floor.  It was pretty comfortable, but sometimes it was hard to get in/out of bed if my hip was acting up.  In addition, I needed more storage space, and since the mattress was on the floor, I couldn't put anything but magazines underneath.  I bought an unfinished pinewood bed kit and assembled and finished it.  Then one day I was browsing overstock.com and came across a Serta 3" memory foam mattress topper (5lb density) for a great price, so I decided to try it out.  I was leery of spending thousands on a memory foam bed, so I figured this would be a great way to test-drive the memory foam concept.  I also bought a hypoallergenic synthetic down pillow-top enclosure for the memory foam, to protect it.  OMG it is fabulous!  I love my bed.  It feels like my own personal coccoon.  I have lots of pillows of various sizes and types, including a high-loft body pillow with a soft flannel case.  I sleep so much better since I added the memory foam.

Here's a picture of my little slice of heaven

My son has a Tempurpedic bed and he loves it.  I tried sleeping on it and I felt like someone beat me up.  It wasn't comfortable to me at all.
