I had read about her.....  great inspiration to many!!
When you are Real most of your hair has been loved off and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby once you are Real you can't be ugly except to people who don't understand

Wow, she was only 2 when diagnosed?  She has a long scar from her hip replacement, mine is only about 4 inches long.  From her xray, it looks like she has wire or something wrapped around her thigh bone where the hip joint prosthesis was implanted -- that thigh bone could have fractured necessitating that wire stuff to hold it together.  Wow.  She's gone through a lot, but still has an amazing smile and attitude.  Admirable.
