Armadillos are always born as identical quadruplets.  They are also the only mammals besides humans that can get leprosy.

A roach can live without it's head for a week or so because it's brain isn't in it's head. A lot of snakes only "see" in heat. Many of them don't have ears and only sense vibrations. If you live in North America you're never more than 4 ft from a spider. You see so many dead armadillos on the roadside in the south because their primary defense mechanism is to jump up in the air and curl into a ball... they hit the underneath side of the car as it goes over them. OK i'll stop now. However it does beat the hell outta beating the hell outta each other.
