Arthritis Insight is a not for profit corporation. Not only are we not for profit, but at this point in time no one on our board of directors or staff earns a salary, we are all volunteers. So you can rest assured that anything you donate will be used only to help us achieve our mission: to use the internet to provide timely, accurate information and emotional support to the hundreds of millions of people with arthritis and their families around the world.

Monetary donations are always appreciated. However we realize not everyone has the funds available to make a monetary donation or may not feel comfortable giving money. There are other ways you can donate, used office equipment and personal time and talent are also needed. And of course, your donation will be tax deductible.

Here are some items we are currently wishing for:

• Computer/office Equipment-Tina currently runs this site using a $600 computer, and Kim's isn't much better. If you are planning to upgrade and would like to donate your old equipment, please let us know. If we can't use them, we can find members who can.
• RAM-Until we can afford new computers, we could really benefit from some RAM.
• Postal Meter-We plan on doing some bulk mailing to rheumatologists very soon and a postage meter would make that job much simpler.
• Paper, ink, envelopes, etc-If you aren't comfortable giving money, we can always use basic office supplies.
• Laptops-We'd love to have a couple of laptops on hand to loan to members on periods of bedrest or during long hospital stays.
• Software-We'd be forever grateful for the complete Adobe package. And book keeping software would also be greatly appreciated.

We are also in need of some talent and experience:

• Non Profit Law experience-If you are an attorney with experience working with not for profit groups, we could use someone to answer our questions and help with filing the appropriate forms.
• Accounting-We are in desperate need of someone with not for profit accounting experience to help us set up our books.
• Writer-We always looking for talented writers, technical or personal.
• Marketing-We are in dire need of marketing suggestions.
• Fund Raising Ideas-For obvious reasons!
