I did it!! I did it!!!!
I gave my self my first enbrel injection last night!! The girl who is terrified of shots! I couldn't do the first one in teh office because I was getting over a sinus infection. Now, it did take about a half hour because I was afraid it push the button. It didn't sting or hurt at all! My hubby said he was proud of me.
I don't really feel anythig yet, except a sick stomach. Is that common?
I hope it kicks in soon. My knee does feel better today!
sick stomach is not a normal engrel reaction. I wonder if it is left over nerves
Congratulations Christina!!, the fear of the unknown with these drugs is really something isn't it? I'm so glad you were able to do it and it wasn't so bad. I don't have to inject, something about seniors not having to go through that, I have the infusions for Remicade.
Thanks for sharing your good news, Love Lynda
Take care Christina Yay for you! I have my first Humira injection today. I hope mine goes just like yours. Thanks for the inspiration. Andrea Yay for you!!!!! Good job, girl
I have not had an upset stomach after Enbrel. The only thing for me is a slight site reaction. Red , warm itchy. But it doesn't last long and it is a good trade for feeling as good as enbrel makes me feel. Linda Thanks everyone! I am pretty excited! Linda, my stomach isn't red or anything but it hurts to touch. BUT I think thats because I the pen pressed on my stomach for so long! haha
Andrea Linda, No my stomach is sick...was sick. It feels better now. But I think buckeye was right, left over nerves. But thank you for your concern.
It just hurts when I bend over now or button my pants! ha
Andrea, Good luck with your injection! I am such a HUGE baby, I have passed out from shots before and this was nothing. It was so quick too. MUCH shorter than I thought it would be. You will be so relieved. I was all worked up for nothing.
Congrats!
