1st hurmia shot OMG!! | Arthritis Information

 

I had my 1st injection and it took me about a 1hour to get the shot in.  I was mentally siked.  I was so used of inj myself with different m eds that when it came to the pen I was so scared of the click.  I ended up having my husband give me the shot. A little poke and I was good.  I felt like a big DUMMY...

but my experience w/ enbrel is that the third month is when I started feeling better... and that continued to improve.. so you can't really expect too much after the first shot....

Bump....I'm on Humira and occasionally have a reaction.
Nothing to bad tho.

Sometimes it can sting and burn a little, but most of the time I have no problems.
I agree with Babs, You can't expect this drug to work miracles with one shot.

I shoot up in the stomach area as shooting into the thigh area hurts like mad.


Where did you take the shot?
Hey Bodak I took the shot in my tummy.  I'm just so used to meds working right away for me.  I could feel the difference with Orencia (biologic) within 48 hours.  I guess I'll hang in there. Thanks for the advice.  You have a Awesome Photo website.  Do you sell your photos?Babs - I began the shots in February along with metatrexate and I don't seem to be
