Hows the grandbaby doing?  Is she taking the bottles good?  How did the drs appt go on Friday?

Well, we were down there for a very short time on Sunday and the baby
looks better. Candice seemed so much more relaxed and looked like she
was actually enjoying being a mom. I think the first 6 weeks of this baby
screaming non stop took a toll on her and now that she is getting some
formula, it is better. Plus the zoloft is kicking in. The lactation nurse put
her on fenugreek? Not sure if that is the right spelling but it is supposed
to increase her milk production and if that does not work, they will give
her prescription stuff, which I'm not sure what. Maybe an oxytocin drug?
She goes back to work on the 1st so I think she will probably give up the
breast feeding because thus far, she has not been able to bank any milk.
I'm not sure how things are going with her and her husband but they are
certainly putting up the old united front when we visit. We get a whole
different story from candices mom when we talk to her. I think Candice is
more open with her mom than with her dad. The baby is up to 8-6 which
the doctor says is not enough but Candice and Shaun needed to hear that
from the doctor before they took action, not sure why. Anyway, that is it
in a nutshell. I just hope everything goes ok. At least it sounds if things are improving a bit, well keep my fingers crossed! This sounds so much better to me. I can't fake being happy or relaxed when I'm depressed - just don't have the energy to fake it. I'm glad she and babe are feeling better.
