knee osteo + acupuncture | Arthritis Information

I recently read that acupuncture was helping some suffering with
knee osteoarthritis. Has anyone tried it on this board?

No I haven't tried it. If you do it, I hope that you get relief.

I just started acupuncture a couple weeks ago. It's helped with fibro pain and fatigue. It could be worth a shot for your knee. Like most treatments, it may take a couple weeks to start noticing a difference.I read more on the acupuncture and learned it may take up to 26
treatments before relief is certain.

My Rheumi is suggesting a series of 5 Hyalgan shots. Now I'm
thinking I'd rather go the shorter routine. Have to make a decision
soon.

Everyone's different, but I had significant relief after just two acupuncture sessions. I hope you have pain-free days no matter what treatment you decide on. Good luck.
