Notice how much the average worker makes.  Damn!

Also notice that they are still making a profit even if only 1 - 2 percent.  My guess - the price of Enbrel is going up.

And Minocin - they make that too.

I heard about this on the news yesterday. After hearing about how much the average worker makes, I've decided I'm in the wrong profession! And you can just about bet that the price of Enbrel will be going up. Sad. Brisen39311.8983796296

U.S. Minocin was sold last year to a dermatological company-Triax.

My husband has had three contracts canceled in the last week because they were Amgen employees!

OK, that's really wild.  It's the first time I didn't see the word 'therapies' in a Pharma mission statement.

I wonder if these are the guys (and if not them then who) that are trying to develop a Mino with no antibacterial properties?

I remember being on a team to come up with a mission statement for the IT group (I was a scientific database programmer/analyst) when I worked at a big pharma.  I mean, for chrissakes!  It was an internal department; it's not like the IT department was out drumming up business.  We spent WEEKS working on that damn mission statement.  Even our boss thought it was completely ridiculous, but she had no choice because it had been ordered by the pinheads in mahogany row.  We eventually came up with some bland, saccharine b.s. mission statement and all was well.  Then a few months later we had the annual reorganization (I swear those f*cks on mahogany row would just roll the dice and see who would be forced to reorganize next) and it was all thrown out.  And we reorganized a few more times after that before I left.  I was at that company for exactly 6 years.
