Last night we had a kid free night so we went to my husbands bestfriend Phill's house we hung out, the boys played pool while his gf and I picked out paint colors for their new condo. Then Phil's gf, her best friend and I went into the hot tub that is in the codo complex thne into the sauna.. and OMG did I feel AWESOME afterwards!!!!  I told em that I am definitly gonna be around more. lol  But if anyone has a chance to try one out I would definitly reccomend it.

My brother and SIL are having a hot tub put on their deck of the house they're building.  I was skeptical of it however I may have to try it now.Yes very very good thing. Some insurances even cover hot tubs as part of therapy for arthritis patients. My uncle got a doc help him out w/ that in the late 70's. Only thing is, watch the blood pressure. 10-15 min. is about average in a spa for good healthy benefits. I'd say miracle on my worst days.  Oh My Goodness, I LOVE my hot tub!! I always feel really good and very relaxed after I get out. The pump is going bad, so we turned it off for now and I have to wait until the repairman comes and fixs it.

My first experience in a hot tub was last year.  My daughter and I took a week long car ride through the Lewis and Clark trail in Idaho, and every night I spent 15-30 min. in the pool and then 15 min. in the hot tub.  Gosh, I was almost a new women.  That is on my ULTIMATE list of stuff I WANT.  Too bad I will probably never get it.  It makes a huge difference.  With the hot tubs I did not even need a pain pill at night.  First time in two years!

We had our main bathroom redone a few years ago.  The toilet, tub and sink were probably 40 years old!!!  Anyway, when picking out the new bathtubs, we saw one with the waterjets in it. It's really deep, too.  Deeper than most bathtubs I've seen. It was only a couple hundred dollars more than the regular bathtubs, so we got it.  OMG what a godsend!  I absolutely love it!  I also go to the sauna and the big whirlpool at the gym.  Pure heaven on earth.  I'm thinking of putting a sauna and hottub in our house - probably in the basement, so that the hot tub doesn't come crashing through the floor of this 80-year old house!

I love our hot tub, too. You can feel the pain easing out of your body as you lower yourself in to it.

Of course, when you get out, the bones are still creaky, but it's a wonderful break from the constant pain.
