I somehow came across this plasma donation website the other day and I wanted to share it with you.  There is a company that is looking for donations of plasma for those that have been diagnosed w/ an autoimmune disease.  I talked with someone there this afternoon and your Rheumatoid Factor needs to be 5,000 or greater.   Depending on your qualifications they will pay you up to 0 and depending on your weight you can go up to twice a week and you go to a Red Cross facility.  I have the information in my email if anyone would like it, just PM me your email address and I will be more then happy to send it along.

Hmm, that is interesting!  My husband donates blood every 6 weeks and one of our sons donates plasma.  I have just read an article that donating blood helps lower heart risk disease in people between the ages of 42 and 64, but I am not sure why they are looking for plasma of people with RA.  Maybe a Vaccine? mary that would be AWESOME. Shannon, you have my addy already, send it my way!!! Though I doubt they'd want mine. But it's worth a look-see! LoL
