SO i went to the dermatolgist today for my crazy rash that has spread ALL over my legs and arms. its soooo itchy but basically looks like hives, except it stays in one place, not like hives that come and go. Anyway he had no clue what it is so he did blood work and a biopsy of the rash to see. He said its probably either a reaction to one of my meds(ive been on them all for a pretty long time) an infection, or somthing JRA related! SOOO yea fun! at least he gave me some cream to use in the mean time....so i got a pretty little bandage and 2 stitches on my knee from the biopsy lol good thing im used to stuff like that or i would have been freaking out!!!!!!! LOL Poor chica!!!! Let us know what it is once you find out. It would be strange to be a recation to a med, BUT they say you can become allergic to stuff at any time. So who knows!!!I hope that cream takes care of the itching, that must drive you crazy. haha sooo crazy!! but its almost time for my benedryl wooopeee just hope it stops spreading!!!Well, I hope they figure out what it is. But then, so many things can cause a rash. maybe it'll just go away and never reappear and you'll never know what it was. Cheers to the benedryl, hope it gives you an itchless night's sleep yea i hope they found out though,its just getting worse, maybe ill wake up and it will be gone!We can only hope, but post in the am and let us know, K? ANd even if it isn't gone in the morning, it WILL be gone, probably sooner than later. So their is always something to be looking forward to. Ugh sorry you have the itchies. That really bites. I didn't know you had to have a knee biopsy! I'm so sorry! Glad it went well and you got a pretty band aid out of the whole deal. Please let us know what the biopsy shows. well it didnt go away overnight........... but then again i ddint expect it to, ive had this rash for more then a week...... ill hear from the doc tomorrow, most likely everything will come back normal lolWell that's too bad, but how did you sleep? Without itching all night I hope.
Commiserations on the itching, hope it clears soon.I looked it up, and i dont think i have it, i dont have blisters on my rash at all and no scabs. an intersting ting though is i am Gluten intolerent although not dx with celiac.... but DH is caused by gluten combining with IGA, I dont eat gluten at all AND my blood doesnt even have IGA in it..... im iga defficiant lol sooo i dont think i can even get it. Good idea though!!!
yea i wasant itching TOO much at night, woke up once scratching myself but the benedryl did a pretty good job :)
