OT because im itchy and cant sleep | Arthritis Information

 

no news on my itchiness and i keep getting closer and closer to becoming a huge ugly bumpy monster.... and doc said the 5mg pred im on is probably keeping me from turning completely into one giant bump lol its ALL over my arms and legs and thickening and spreading as soon as it gets to my butt im not leaving the house cause how am i gonna scratch that in public lol??

and here is my knee where they did the biopsy.... doesnt show up as well

soo yea you guys have been awesome, keeps my mind off the itching reading your alls posts.......

joints are acting up as well..... wonder if its related? knowing me though all blood work will be normal, how fun is that lol

has anyone gotten rashes like this as a reaction to humira? ive been on it 3 months but i guess its possible

Bless your heart  That's all I got.  Sorry.That sure looks sore amd itchy.   Have you recently been in the sun?  That's happened to me a few times this summer after being in the sun.  I coudln't stop scratching...and got welts all over.Man that looks like crap, no lie! LOL I'm sorry. :( You need a tub of ice cream and someone to rub your feet. I think that should be the standard treatment for anyone who's miserable. ya with me??? LOL

Atarax are the BEST!  Or you could do a benedryl cream or even a quarter of a teaspoon, but check with doc for interaction.

YAY!!!  I'm miserable.  Who wants to rub my feet?i was at the beach with the doc said made it worse but i had it before........ im at a camp all day in doors, in a classroom..... soooo most of the time NO sun lol

could be allergy.... he is wondering if im having a reaction to humira, i have been a little wheezy but i have asthma so its not so unusual, im on bunches of allergy meds but im paying attention to see if that stuff gets worse...What day do you take humera?haha i used like a whole tube of benedryl and cortisone cream over the weekend haha benedryl isnt putting me to sleep tonight! i took it an hour ago!!!!!!

AHHH ICE is so nice, lol the rash is hot if that means anything knees are BURNING up! ice feels awesome lol I take humira on sat, didnt take it last weekend it was my off week the rash didnt start getting really bad till llike fri.... but ive had it for much longerSo does this mean no more humera for you?i dont know, it doesnt help anyway, but im not going off yet need to wait for blood and biopsy resultsyeah, but you won't take it again before you get the resullts will you?yea i guess not

ok blood results were fine, white blood cells were on the border of normal and high but he said they are fine. He will know tomorrow about the biopsy, if its an allergic reaction ill know then otherwise who knows. my rheumy said it could maybe be the humira but its unlikely, but we shall see soon. hope sooo cause im itchy!
and i couldnt sleep last night :( benedryl actualy kept me up???? and i was soooo itchy!That is so miserable.  Haven't had a rash like yours, but spent many nights with mosquito bites all over my legs.  I usually dab on some minty toothpaste, but you can't really do that with your rash.  Hopefully tonight will be better for ya.

That looks like the hivey mess I had from Bextra one of the cox2 nsaids yanked off the market. I had been on it almost 2 years when I became allergic. Two things helped: pred and no more bextra!

I hope they figure it out quick. It was awful. Strange it was all down the front of me except for face - nothing on my back or back of legs or back of arms. It happened over the 4th of July, took me a week to see a doctor.ach, yea im on pred right now just 5mg but doc said i would be MUCH worse without it lol this rash is spreading but is only all over my legs and arms no were else thank goodness!

ach a week me too, i was out of town, got worse and then i went right away...
