Apology to Phatgirl and All from Melly | Arthritis Information

Phatgirl (and anyone else who may have been offended)

Just wanted to reach out to you to apologize for "disturbing the peace" awhile back with my post attacking you for what I was perceiving as you demonstrating unkind behavior towards me and others in some of your posts. And my sincere apologies to the others here as well for doing so publicly like that instead of using the pm feature if I wanted to address an issue with someone.

Since I have come off the high doses of pred I was on and off of throughout the spring and early summer, I can look back now and see how erratic, paranoid and defensive I had been feeling and acting - both online and offline unfortunately..

That's it. Long overdue I know but had a computer malfunction in the meantime as well...

Kind Regards,

Melly

Pred can make ya pretty crazy!! Glad that you're feeling more with it now! I know how frustrating having a medication interfere with your mind can be.

Melly,

It takes a lot to "stand up" and apologize. Well done Melly, we all have our crazy days, don't fret, and welcome to the board.  HUgs Janie.

Melly,

Thank you so much for apologizing!  I, too, am sorry for anything I did to contribute.  I think I was on Pred at that time too.  *It is the devil, I tell ya*

Anyhoo, glad you are here and post till your fingers can't post anymore

PS, I takes a big person to be able to apologize.  I really appreciate it and it shows what kind of person you are.

Phats

This post made me start off my day smiling!  What a wonderful thing you have done here Melly.

Karen

That is such a very nice thing you have done Melly.

Congrats to you for being the bigger person and righting a wrong.

Thanks All (esp. Phats) for being so understanding and accepting my apology...

Just getting that off my chest had made me feel better immediately and I feel even better now due to the gracious response!

Regards,

Melly

Melly,

I understand what you went thru. As I have went pred crazy and paranoid a few times before and it was not a pretty sight.

So, you are not alone. Pred will mess with your mind and you will not even know it until after it is over and done with. It really is scarey to know that pred makes you give up your sanity to be mobile and help with the pain. For me, it is still a good trade off, but I would only go back on, after I wean off this time, if it was for a short period of time.

Welcome back Melly! Please feel free to jump right back in on posting. Some of us truly understand what you went thru and hope it does not happen to ya again.

Huggs!
