OT - Clint Eastwood and Me | Arthritis Information

Hi, well what a surprise to see Clint Eastwood in my very own town. He looks just like the rest of the 'old fellows' we know. Gray hair, sun burnt skin, movies do a lot with 'make up' and all .(he did have a nice leather jacket on). He was doing an interview for our local TV station and I was standing 'right next to him'....well , almost....2 people away!!

He came with the State of Calif. Rec/Parks Commission, to hear about our beautiful new State Park Beaches on the Central Coast, and other 'testimony' of interest to people in the area.

I spoke about our Golf Course drying up because of a state park pipeline (60 years old that has collapsed).....They said they would 'look into it with the County' folks. Ya, right! Lynda

Wow! Lynda.  That's awesome.   I like a lot of his movies.  The older ones like the outlaw Josie Wales.  I think that's my favorite.  And most of his newer ones too.  When I was many many years younger, I was out to eat with my 1st husband and we were sitting 2 tables away from Aerosmith.  That was quite a thrill.  The drummer even stopped on his way out and asked how we were enjoying our meal. Cool! I like Clint Eastwood. I like his Dirty Harry Movies the most. Not many of his new movies I like. But put a Dirty Harry movie on and I will watch it. My favorite Dirty Harry movie is the Dead Pool.

Clint Eastwood bores me to tears

Mo'Nana?! ...................................... Make my day PUNK!

 YOU LI'L DEVIL YOU!

Now I love a good western, John Wayne is my hero...Big Jake, McClintock, True Grit, now those are good movies.

Quigley Down Under was good the first 10 times we watched but now , so-so. Hubby gets hung up on a movie he likes amd watches it everytime it is on

And James Bond movies, jeez, they have a marathon for 14 days, all day, at Christmas. He watches over and over and over

I think it has something to do with being a kid and being forced to watch Bonanza by the people in the rest home. My mom worked in a rest home when I was 4 years old and the old people we hooked on Bonanza, and they did not like Magnum PI. Mean old people!

oohh we love Bonanza marathons on Saturdays

Little Joe is the bomb

See I told ya I was an old foogy

Yes Linda Bonanza had the burning map

I was pretty young but my mom and dad watched and back in the day people only had one tv. I remember we didn't get a color tv until I was 3 or 4 yrs old. The first color movie I saw Wizard of Oz, I've loved it ever since

Beats me*shrugs* I don't watch tv, I hang out with you guys all night! LOL

Yeah, but someone said something about the wizard of oz.  Or maybe Im just crazy.  Nevermind.

It was me probably. My daughter MADE me watch Wizard of Oz everday, 3+ times day for months! She was obessed with it.

I use to know just about the whole movie word for word and action by action that is how much she made me watch it.

It was like the time I knew every Winnie the Pooh song! Yeah not watching the movies with son that he likes to watch over and over and over again I just let him watch it in his room or living room and I go to my room and watch tv
