Is it Saturday Yet? | Arthritis Information

I was asking because I am wanting my Humira. I mean the 30mg of pred is working just fine, but I know that the 5mg of just pred is just around the corner... ok it is 20+ days away

Maybe I need to call my RD Monday to see if I am to take Humira still since the pred flare thingy ends about the time I go back to see her?

I am confused. I have been confused about everything lately. As I have been having a hard time remembering things that were just told to me and I am one of those people who doubts themselves all the time. Even if I know I am right, I will have to have it confirmed that I am right.

Oh well... I guess I will take it anyways. What can it hurt to take the Humira and have it in my system when I get a Remicade infusion? Anyone know?

It is Saturday here already...2.59pm actually not that is much help to you over there, sweetie.

Joonie, stop it...doubting yourself. This week you had a huge appointment with a new RD, you can't expect yourself to take everything in...no one does. If you need to clarify stuff via phone do so etc. Otherwise make a choice for yourself in the mean time, whatever choice you make it is unlikely to be a disaster...you do know enough about your disease to make a call on stuff if you have to.

And you are also rather unwell at the moment too...remember, so quit being so hard on yourself woman. Write stuff down also, it helps. At times when my brain feels like yours at the moment, I just write everything necessary down, whatever it may be. Oh, and you are on Pred too which can do naught for our brains as well. Also have a look back at the post you wrote the other day reporting back about the RD, it will help you remember stuff. Take point form notes from it if you have too.

I don't think it will make any real difference to have some Humira in your system when you have the Rem. God, I stopped Humira without permission. Do what your instincts think best.

I know, but since I got confused about the pred taper/flare pred stuff. I just am confused all of a sudden. Oh well, probably time for me to go to bed.

What did you decide? Did you take the humira? Don't leave us hanging. LOL I take my humira shot tomorrow and wish it were tomorrow. Major shoulders/arms/left foot hurting like a moe foe. I am taking a flexeril in the daytime which I have never done to try to get some relief. I hope you figured it out and got some relief yourself, hang in there girl!

Yeah, I think I am going to take it tonight when we get back home from gallivanting about. Might as well, for as much as I stressed over my Humira not being packaged right.

Besides it does not last the whole week for me anyways, but at least it will be some more relief, because of the flare pred taper.
