I had a sudden onset of hip OA in 2000 due to a flare of Lyme borreliosis. Damage was confirmed by x-ray and in 2007 another x-ray showed no damage.

Thanks for the response. My parents used to live in Lyme Ct, so I am very familiar with Lyme disease. I looked at the link. I may ask my rheumy if he has ruled that out.
Lyme can disguish itself as so many other diseases, so it is often missed. Lynne
