Hi, I'm Amazonian  Of course we'll have you!!!! We love new people! The more you poke around, the more you'll find that 98% of people hang out in the RA forum, regardless of their DX. So just drop in and start posting, there's a world of info there, and some GREAT people!!!! Hi there and welcome to the madness....this is a great place to get your questions answered and find the support you're seeking.  Seems like many of us have multiple chronic illnesses.  Come on over to the RA threads and post away.  LindyThank you! :) I already feel amongst friends, and to me, being with people who understand you, what you're going through, who can help when necessary or just to be light hearted with and chat to on a general basis is priceless!  Hi there you and I definitely have alot in common. You know hemmerstein1200, I always feel so relieved to know I'm not on my own. When days are bad - and we all know just HOW BAD they can get, and I'm on my own, things get pretty bleak.

Just knowing that there is someone out there - many people in exactly the same position as me makes one hell of a difference. I often just sit and burst into tears and not know why, other than relief or depression.

I just wish someone would get on our case - seriously get on our case and do something about the pain were all in.
You'd have thought in todays day and age pain relief would have been well and truly sorted out wouldn't you?

It's okay Doctors telling us and advising us to do this, that and the other, how do they expect us to when we're in too much pain to even move half the time?

How close are you to having your replacement? It seems I'm dangling on the end of an ever lengthening piece of string to me.
I'm totally fed up of my wheelchair too, the arthritis in my fingers make wheeling myself almost impossible at times. I can't get hold of a motorised one just yet, so I'm stuck in waiting for hubby or my daugher. Shhesh... life sucks at times, but I'm an essentially happy soul as long as I have a book to lose myself in and friends here to chat to.
