Good morning to everyone, I hope you all wake up today( or go to bed-time zone) and feel good. I am off to the hospital for some more tests on this Lymes disease so hopefully I should know something soon.

Take care

Lisa

Hope you get some positive stuff Lisa

Good Morning to my friends down under and over the pond.  Lisa I hope you get some sort of info.  Have they checked you for MS?

Have a great day.  I am going back to bed b/c it is 3am Wyoming time.  Lots of hugs.

Now you're all saying good morning, and I'm saying goodnight!!

Goodnight!!  I think!!

Morning!  We shall see if today is a better day.  I have my REAL drs appt at 4:15 today, but i'll be late.  Gotta take the train then a bus and the bus doesnt get to the hospital till like 4:30ish but its not like im gonna get into to see him right away. So no worries there.  Hubby is in a crabby mood. Hes sick so its of course the end of the world and he takes it out on me. But God forbid i have a bad day.  He had to nerver to ask me what is it that I do around here. Cause I asked him to call the landlord to tell him about the ceiling.  Hes like well you had the phone all day (he forgot his cell at home) why couldnt you call him

Karen~  I saw the pictures of where your daughter is having her wedding and it is absoutly beautiful!!  I wouldve loved to get married on the ocean like that but living in IL and getting married in March prevented me from attempting anything outside.  My best friend got married in VA outside, which he has yet to send me pics...But they did a traditional Irish wedding so Im sooo excited to see how they turned out.

Michelle~ I cannt believe that the pastor actually did that.  I have never heard of such a thing.  People can be so insensitive but you dont expect that from a man of God.

Jeanne~ You have a housefull for a while it sounds like it.  HOpe you find a bed.. Remember to take care of yourself in between taking care of the family.

Lisa~ Good luck at the drs today.  Let us know what kind of tests they run.  There may be some on here that are having trouble getting an RA diagnosis and maybe they can do some tests for Lymes disease.

~Shannon~

Shannon I hope today is better for you...take care of youself first.

Jeanne...what a house full...are you sure you are up for it?  It must be fun to have the grandbabies with you.

Lisa let us know what happens or any news.

Off to take my beautiful teenagers to school.  Will be back later.

BTW...I have just broke out in another psoriasis patch on my arm.  Gosh I wish this would stop.

Morning Everyone. It's Thursday!! One day closer to the weekend!!

Lindy~I know you haven't checked in yet; but I hope your surgery goes goes well today. You'll be on my mind.

Hope you guys have a great day!

Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone has a good day.  I have a ton of housework just waiting for me but I need my hour of RA time before the meds kick in to feel good enough to start tackling it.  Jeanne-what a houseful!  Have fun with the grandbabies!  Shannon-hope all goes well at the docs for you today.  Men are such absolute babies when they're sick. Try to ignor hubby's rude comments from his sick brain.

Okay, I decided to bump this baby up, because people are going off all Willy Nilly and creating another chat thread.  That would be JAY doing that!!!  LOL

I guess some Yankees don't recognize the date in the British format - it just threw them totally for a loop!

How is everyone today?

Dammit I should have looked a little harder. I thought it was strange not to see one for today. SORRY

Hey watch it, my laptop is getting wet from all those tears!LOl Poor Jay. Karen you're so MEAN! Shame!!

                Good Morning Everyone

Hope ya'll are having a good day, and if not I hope it gets better!

Have a ton of house work to get done in a few hours

Karen dont jump in here with a wise crack (ok you can if you have to) but Jay has me all confused on where our OT chat should go today

Shannon I hope you feel better today, dang insinsitive hubby's!

Oh I had a cramp in my calf  last night that woke me from a sound sleep! My leg is so sore I can barely walk this morning. Anybody else have these and do you know why?

Well I must get busy

Miss Katie...are you on an antidepressant??  'cause ya can't take melatonin if you are...SORRY!

OK...I am approved to get my first infusion of Remicade.  What should I be prepared for.  I just hope what ever is happening that my body is attacking my skin is stopped by this.  I am going to end up looking like an alien.  My hubby saw me looking at my arm and kind of rubbing it and said..."Another patch?"  Yep...so I slathered my cream on and took kids to school.

I am sooooo tired and not sleeping well either...of course I thought I would take my vicodin instead of percoset not remembering that vicodin wares off sooner.

Damn holiday has befuddled my brain. I need to Americanise myself after my holiday and write the dates properly

Hope everyone is well

I can't? Why??
I can't? Why??
Some antidepressants alter the serotonin balance in the brain (SSRI's in particular).  Melatonin is a metabolite of serotonin, so in theory adding melatonin could cause excess serotonin (since the body will not have to convert as much serotonin to melatonin).  Serotonin syndrome is a potentially fatal health crisis arising from too much serotonin.

The same risks, in theory, result from mixing SSRI's with triptans (Imitrex, etc for migraine), dextropethorophan (the "DM" in Robitussin DM), even tramadol (tramadol acts as a weak SSRI, which may be one of the ways it provides pain relief).

I would check with a pharmacist.

My brother arrived from England yesterday for a 2 wk. visit, and I'm soooooooo happy!

I feel badly being so happy while others are having a hard go of it.

Dont feel guilty about being happy, even when i am ill others happiness rubs off on me and makes me feel better.Enjoy your brothers visit

Janice, I go on the theory that happiness is contagious! Thanks, guys!  This truly is a support group!

How is everyone elses day?

Thanks Jas.

So I'm on Lexapro..what kinda AD is that one? And can I take Excedrine Tension Headache pills??

Y'all have me worried now!!!!
Thanks Jas.

I study pharmacology in my spare time.  Got to use that chemistry degree some how!

Gosh, I just want some relief! I am sure that is where Katie is too.  Katie it is not uncommon to have sleeping problems while Aunt Flo is visiting.

I was inspecting all of the hidden joints in the shower and now I know why my knee that was just operated on in June is killing me.  It is swollen again and looks really awful.  So much for the steriod shot lasting.  I guess all of the travelling and being cramped on an airplane really has not agreed with me.  GRRRR!  Good news my first Remicade infusion is next WED.  I hope the psoriasis is stopped by then.

Sorry for complaining and stealing any joy.

Oh yucky Michelle. :( I'm sorry!!

Ya think that's what's keeping me up?? It might be. Hmm. I sleep GREAT when it's ice cold in the house....and it has only been a little cool. I'm gonna CRANK the a/c tonight and see if I zonk out.

Can I take Tylenol PM? Or Unisom??? LOL I just keep up with the questions, don't I?

OH I do not have pink eye. But I am very allergic to SOMETHING. We're trying to figure out what it is. When I wake up in the AM, my eyes are all crusty and no longer red. By the time I get into work, about 30 mins later, I'm bloodshot again. HARDCORE. I have no idea what's doing it. :| And oh the itch!! The only thing I can think of is the new carpet stuff they've been shampooing the rugs with. Who knows.

Enjoy the rest of your day!!!!
Jas, you're a life saver!

arriscolwell39324.5160648148

Just don't take the excedrin for 4 to 6 hours before bed; the caffeine can interrupt your sleep.

Well I am off to get Kelsay from school, then on to my drs appointment.  I shall see yall when I get back

Well, looks like I missed the morning chatter

I am sleepy. I have not been taking my meds. I know... I know... I should be taking them, but when I think about taking them it is either tooo early or tooo late. So, I am having a hard time going to sleep at night because of the pred. Oh and that son keeps staying awake until 3-4am or wakes up at 4-5am. Then I have to get back up at 6am to make sure hubby wakes up and gets ready for work, and then I have to make sure daughter gets on the bus at 7am. And then by the time I have laid back down and fall asleep good, son will wake up and be up for the next 14+ hours without a NAP!

So... that means everyday since last Friday... I have only had like 6 hours of sleep a day, but not all at one time, a few hours here, a couple of hours there, and an hour before day break.

Last night I felt like I was going nuts! My mind would not cut off. I kept thinking and thinking and thinking. Yeah... I am thinking that HIGH doses of pred is not good for me mentally.

So, watch out ya'll... I might go pred crazy soon and have them mood swings again

Do not mind me if I talk about "people out to get me" or that "I feel like someone is watching me sleep", or that "I hear voices", or anything that might seem "strange" about me

Yeah I am on pred, I can smell the bananas now.

Ok... so the Amitriptylin is not for any of that, but still it is a med I feel I can do without right now.

My neck has not even been bothering me since being on 30-25mg of pred. Wonder what that means? RA in my neck? Or pred is just masking my problems? Who knows? Not I, and I am really to the point of not caring right now, as it is not bothering me.

Deidre HAPPY, Happy b-day.

Joonie they have meds for those "voices"LOL!!!

Hahaha!! Well, would not help, as I am anti-med right now, except for pred.

What theme would you like for your party Deidre?  Now I know Katie would pick Alice in Wonderland, what shall we do for you?

Glad to hear the cake has already been made.  That way we won't have to lock Moana in the kitchen to start baking.  She really whines a lot when we do that!

Have a great evening Deirdre!

Happy birthday Diedre,

Hope you have a wonderful day!  It sounds like it's off to a good start.  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Deidre - although it's probably over by now!!   Hope it was a good one.

Jeanne, were you able to find a place to lay your weary head last night?  I hope you got some rest - when you said sleeping bag I started to get worried!

Thank you for the wonderful answer you left on yesterday's thread.  It sounds so wonderful, now I want to visit even more than before!  And your mowing adventure sounds far worse than mine.  YIKES!  We can get ourselves into some predicaments, can't we?

By the way, I think you were right about Katie, she was out rolling around in something that she's allergic to!

Hillhoney39324.5925462963

LOL I wasn't rolling around in it. It's here in the hotel though, cause I'm back to having red, itchy eyes that look TERRIBLE. All I can think is that new carpet cleaner. They're not even using it today though. Stupid hotel. Last year for about 2 weeks, every day I came to work I broke out in a rash.

There's something WRONG with this place!!!!

HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY DIEDRE! TODAY IS YOUR DAY!

Mmmmmmm I was just given 5 gi-normous chocolate chip cookies....

*drools*

you better share them cookies woman!!!  Im back from my dr's appt.  Ive gotta increase my mtx to 5 cc then to 6 cc by the time i see him in 3 months.  that be all.... not off to do my shots..wish me luck w/ the humira pen

Don't like.....poke your eye out or anything...

You can have the rest of the cookies, they're giving me mega heartburn

Miss Katie and Miss Joonie....Where is your Mo'nana????  Did you shove her into a closet with the rest of the cookies?  She's probably died of a sugar overload...hmmmm.

It's quarter to 5 here, I've had a donut, a piece of cake, a mint chocolate chip cookie and a truffle. On my birthday no one remembers that I've been diabetic for 40 years, or maybe they're trying to kill me. We still haven't gone out to dinner or had my birthday cake, but it's been a good 53rd. Thanks for all the birthday wishes.

Oh my Gosh!!!  I hope you have your meter with you.  That is the first thing I thought of is BLOOD SUGAR alert!!!  I am so glad they are showering you,...but a new car would have been less painful!!!

LOL Yeah watch your sugar!!!

Michelle, I know. And I probably should take allergy meds, but I'm really stubborn about those...they dry my eyes and mouth out pretty bad too, which makes me cranky. When we first moved here to FL, my allergies were out of control. My mom forced me to take allergy meds and I hated it. I don't know what it is about them, but that's the only medication I seem to kick my feet over.

I have no idea what I've been doing all day that's been entertaining me, but all of a sudden I only have an hour left before I leave work! Neat!!!!

My day has stunk since I got up.  I have a brand new patch of psoriasis on my other arm, since the new one that appeared this morning.  My joints are punishing me for all of my wrong doings and my blood sugar has been off since I got home from MIL.  I have not seen under 108...yet.  I woke up this morning and it was 125...I was drinking my coffee with splenda...but has been hovering around there.  MIND YOU I DO NOT HAVE ANY TENDENCIES TO DIABETES says the base GP.

Then I went to the garage to get charcoal to start the grill, so hubby doesn't mistake me for a beached whale.  I got attacked by my son's scooter's handle bars.  Now I have a scratch down my leg that just would not stop bleeding.

I hope the MTX does something tonight and I can make it until the Remicade on Wed.  This is no fun.

edited b/c I am thinking faster than I can type right now.

Shelly4139324.7566087963

Sheesh, what's normal blood sugar? I'm no good with that stuff....

I do hope the MTX does something for ya, it's no fun to be waiting waiting waiting like that.

Normal blood sugars are between 70-110.  The GP said up to 120.  I have slowly been creeping up, and I know I did not watch my diet while I was at MIL.

So still monitoring.

Good night, all.  Hubby helped me with my post, so now I owe him computer time.  TTFN.

Anybody home?

Hilly, I guess it is you and me.  I think I am going to try to lay on the couch and try to get the pain under control.

Okay, Michelle.  I'm so sorry you feel so lousy!  And I'm sorry your psoriasis has been spreading too.  I know it must get you down.

Me too...I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired.  I feel like nothing is working right.  I hear Hawaii calling me!!

You said that right Karen. I let it get so bad it half kills me to do it.

Yep!  It'll kill you for sure...look at me.  I am here for a few minutes and then I will be kicked off.  Hubby has some pictures he needs to attend to.
Miss Katie....this is high season for allergies.  You need to get some "LID SCRUBS" for your eyeballs.  It is great and takes off makeup like a dream.  It will help not a cure.  Maybe you need to take some benedryl before you go to bed instead of tylenol PM.

Miss Katie and Miss Joonie....Where is your Mo'nana????  Did you shove her into a closet with the rest of the cookies?  She's probably died of a sugar overload...hmmmm.
Tylenol PM has benadryl (diphenhydramine) and acetaminophen.

How was everyone's day? Sounds like you worked your little butt off today Mo!

Well kick ass. I'll be using that for a few days then.

I have heartburn from HELL. Nothing has taken it away yet. And I can hear the gas build up in my tummy ROARING around. It's insanity!!!
Man Katie, sounds like you've had the day from hell, what with your shoulder pain and now the heartburn!

I swear Karen it has only been 4 days and the improvement has been astonishing! He's actually likeable! Always loveable but....

I guess I spoke too soon, he just called and was having a "mild attack" and wanted me to talk him through it. he and g/f and another couple went out of town to eat dinner. He was fine soon as I talked him through it but I think it scared him to think it "might" be bad. Said he was fine now *sheeew* Jeez he's attached to my hip right now

What have you done today? Where is everybody?

Yeah, but now you can show him how this attack was much milder and how it's definitely getting better.  That should be encouraging for him.

There ya'll are, I missed you guys

 Thanks Brisen

That's SOOOOOOO not funny!

Where's Linda been? She popped in here briefly last night, but I really haven't seen her for a couple of days.

I just noticed there was another OT Daily Chatter thread started. Silly Jay!

LOL Karen gave him such a hard time over that. He cried like a baby

Why does everything go wrong for me? I do not know.

Oh well... I will talk to ya'll tomorrow. I am going to go take my meds and lay down. As this week is starting to suck even more.

Night, miss all of you

AWW Joonie sorry about your car and sucky week

I say go for the works Brisen!

Trust me, I already checked.

Watch it wiggle, see it jiggle!

Joonie if it's not overheating very fast (this sucks but it works) you can crank the heat on high, and it'll pull the heat off the engine, and help keep it cool. Bad time of year to run the heater, but I mean, you do what you gotta do, right?

Gale, today wasn't so bad really, the Lexapro keeps me smilin. LOL And my heartburn has subsided, I went 10 hours without eating...OOPS.

Doing that right now Katie, BRB

gravity- Isaac Newton, I'm all for a lynching here

.000, pocket change pppfffttt!

Hi girls. You too mean old Karen, riding me this morning. You know, when I was young, I always wanted cute little Shirley Temple dimples. Word of advice, NEVER wish for dimples. I've got more dimples and ripples now that you could never begin to imagine! Brisen39324.8732291667So I think I may officially have lost my mind, but I think I am going to breed my dog with my daughter's and have puppies.  They would be so cute! What kind of dog's Karen?Jay, when the opportunity he presents itself, I have to pounce!Nice try though Jay!

So they would Bichin' Malt Cocka-sh*tz!

Wow, that sounds bichin!Wow Karen. Just.............wow.

Only you......

OMG I got back just in time, Karen has went over the edge

hey Jay, boy your brave! At least you gave me a break from Karen's sarcastic wit!

Trey is fine, thanks guys

Katie you freak me out with your knowledge about everything!

Hey, I think I'm on to something here!  This could be the start of a new designer breed!

My dog is solid white, my daughter's is solid black, they are almost exactly the same size, and both adorable.  I could end up with little furry yin and yangs!

How CUTE that sounds!! But are you sure you want to be a grandma before your daughter gets married??  Don't say that MoNana, it'll go to my head.

Yeah, well, I am from West Virginia!

Breeding  in  WVA is the "gross" natural product

Yep Katie that was me, pregnant was not like that for me so don't be scared

*****WARNING JAY, GIRLIE THINGS AHEAD!*******

Well ya know. I'm not gonna lie. The idea of pushing something the size of a watermelon through a hole the size of a lemon isn't all that appealing either....

(damnit what comedian said that?!?!? It always cracks me up...)
Yeah Katie, don't be scared. Eating everything that's not nailed down and walking around with swollen ankles, looking like a beached whale is nothing to be afraid of! And don't worry, you'll eventually get used to those stretch marks! You guys are TERRIFIC birth control, by the way.

 Trust me It'll stretch

But that little bundle of joy makes it all worth it! LOL

Wasn't it Carol Burnette that described childbirth by saying "Take your bottom lip, and pull it over your head...."

And one day it'll stay that way!!!

Gale tell her like it is. That should ruin any chance her MAN had next week.

I have never seen a pregnant women that I did not think had a glow about her. Granted there have been some realy grumpy ones but it was still there.

Karen I would think you were sick if I didn't see you having fun with someone.

Word of advice...when you start saving for that college fund for the youngster, make sure you also start saving for the plastic surgery fund. You'll need a plan that gives LOT'S of interest!

It don't hurt Katie, trust me

Pshaw, whatever!

Nope, doesn't hurt at all. *cough cough*

Miss Katie it was Bill Cosby Himself...great video.  Ok, so my first pregnancy...well...morning sickness not so bad, but Eleya wanted to visit the world at 27wks.  Spent ten on my back...and no woohoo for the rest of that time.  (of course that is when woohoo was still very fun!)  Second, I looked like a BEACHED WHALE...heart burn morning sickness, night sickness, lived on white rice with salt for the first two months.  I love Brandon...but he was also a 8lb3oz 21 1/2inch toddler monster...now he is 15 and 6ft.  Now I am 5'3" and have an inseam of 29", so I am mostly legs and a little body.  Yeah...that was fun...but I LOVED being pregnant.  I loved all of the sensations!!!  I also love my kiddos.

I could really do some NIPPIN and TUCKIN...of course it would probably be easier if I just chose a body and went in for reconstruction.  I want Julia Roberts body...I have the legs!!!

So what would you call the girl puppies???

You ladies are so bad scaring the youngin like that!  You are violating the creed!  Mother's keep their mouth shut about that, or we will all vanish like the Shakers!

Katie any temporary discomfort will vanish when they put that baby in your arms.

(Is she buying it?)

Vanish like the Shakers! Where do you come up with all this stuff? LMAO

Ya, that is true...wink!  No seriously...I don't know what I would do without my kids.  Of course I would still weigh about 125, and not have a road map on my pouchy tummy...but what the heck!  It was fun and the price you pay for deployments and woohoo.

Shelly is into pain! I just figured it out!

I thought my boys were big at 9lb 10oz & 10lb 12oz.

SHAKERS? like the furniture and religion? Little white caps, long dark dressers, no frills, modest etc....?

MY gosh Brisen you didn't have a baby you had a 3 month old

I'm not small, I'm 5'10", medium frame. Definitely not big enough to birth an 11+ lb baby though. After 12 hours of labor, they FINALLY decided to do a C-section.
MY gosh Brisen you didn't have a baby you had a 3 month old

So Hilly here we go...remember you made me say it.  bichin malt cocka sh*tz bitch...my mom would be sooooo disappointed.

Jay and Gale you both had young toddlers from the womb....poor poor you!!!  So sorry Gale...any lasting road maps etc.

Mom always said I would not have a baby bigger than my husband or my birth weight....well Eleya was three weeks early and was my husbands weight 6lbs 11oz. 19 1/2 inch.  Great size and then there's Brandon...who I hope grows two more inches so I can tease my hubby about being short.  Although I will still be the shortest!

UGHHH Brisen! 12 hrs? that makes me sooo mad. Do you have gestational diabetes?

 LMAO Karen sumo wrestler

My babies were small, 5 and 6 lbs, 18 and 19 inches long.

I have not ONE stretch mark! neener neener

Honestly...I don't know why we ever procreate...it is kind of a messy, and unpleasant thing?!

I was a nice lovely 8lb 4oz or something ridiculously normal like that.

Justin on the other hand, was somewhere around 10lb 14oz.

Helllooooooooooo C-Section!

Neener neener back atcha Mo! Unbelievably, I don't have a single stretch mark either. Not even from the twins!

Now is my abdoman totally flat? Ummmm, no. There's just no way in hell something can stretch THAT far and bounce right back the way it was.

Brisen nobody is big enough to have a nearly 12lb baby! Jeez, did that baby have teeth? I bet he bit you on the way out

Oh and by the way...I have love marks!  Mona if I didn't love you so much...well, you suck!!!

Okay folks, reading between the lines, Mona had her first baby at the age of 11!  And they call me a hillbilly! The 11 pounder was my daughter. She wasn't born with teeth but she started getting them at about 2 months. Even her permanent teeth came in early. I think she got her braces when she was like 8 years old.LMAO Karen!

Sorry Shelly you have the pretty hair

Oh you know what my hair looks like?  Lily Munster's

Hubby cooked me a steak on the grill. How sweet was that. I was so tired

Karen at least my baby daddy ain't no kin!

Niters Jay! See ya tomorrow!

K..so I guess I'll take my hair...NOBODY sees the love marks anyway....can't say that about HAIR.  Love ya too dear

Shelly - I missed your pic. Where's it posted?Yes yes. I really do need to try and get some sleep.

Play nice ladies!! Katie - you still here? Or did we scare you away with our tales??

We must have posted at the same time Katie.

Nite nite. See you tomorrow!

WOOHOO I got Karen's goat! She's speechless!

 g/nite Katydid, love ya bunches.

Gale...putting a face to the name p. 12 half way down...and my family is down from that.

My hair is longer now and needs to be cut...but Mona has scared me to death.

Shelly - How much longer is it now? I'd definitely keep it at the length it was in the pic..I LOVE the cut and style!

Yeah, Mona has be scared too. I have an appt. for a cut and weave on Saturday and I kind of feel like her dark cloud is hanging over me. My last couple of weaves have been awesome, so I'm due for a crappy one. LOL

LOL Karen if you could only see my family tree.

Well if she had weaved mine like she was supposed to I wouldn"t look like this! I think she has Ra brain without the RA

YOUR BUN STARTED LEAKING!

Yeah, that's what happens when you have an 11 lb. baby!

 APPARENTLY!

I had coffee at a friends house and it was like your Cuisinart and the coffee was delicious. She used Seattles Best and made it kind a stong like I like it. I was thinking of getting me one....

You guys are just making this stuff up to give me something to giggle about, aren't you???

I would love a French Press!

OK girls, now back on subject. Karen, you have some explaining to do.

Oh Gosh Karen your killin me

My aunt is my first cousin, my mamas neice married my daddy's brother. Us kids are first and second cousins! eewww

My great grandparents were first cousins once removed.  When you work it forward, my kids end up being my fifth cousins.  But that is just the tip of the iceberg.  I descend from one of my ancestors in 3 different ways, and another one in 2 different ways.  So if you drew out my family chart, you would see the same names, again and again, just at different generations!People from California just don't get this stuff! My brain has a hard enough time understanding a NORMAL family tree. Sheesh! I have to stop and think about that one!My great great grandparents on my mother's side had 22 children.  All from the same mother and father.  Then the 22 started running out of people to marry, so they married their cousins!  And almost all of the 22 had at least 10-12 kids in their families.  Makes tracking them all down pretty confusing! You got that right Karen! Us Californians have to see something like that on paper to be able to comprehend! Hi guys I can hardly keep up with all of this family tree stuff going on with you.WOW! Hi Mew!

You can join me in the confused corner of the room.  LOL

No kidding! hammerstein120039324.9532407407

Hi Mew good to see ya!

Karen I have a hard back book with my family tree in it and it is very confusing. I mean you have to study it to understand

How are you tonight Mew?

Karen I bet we are a kinShe will do whatever it takes to get her French Press!
No kidding!
Did you just quote yourself, Mew!

Karen my first ancester to be born in America was Thomas Young in 1774 and married Naomi Hyatt. Their son Strawbridge Young was born 1772 and is my many greats, grandfather! Young is my maiden name

Tell me you're not complaining Mew! That sounds like TOTAL bliss to me! yep I was kinda slow on getting my post out a moment ago and didn't want to get left behind LOL

So when you got married, it was the last time someone called you Young!

 Sounds great to me mew

Karen you need to buy a french press and see if I like itNope  not today, me and the kids went to the orthodontist this am got out in less than a hour for all 3 of us, and then spent the day with the kids. My foot and knee were killing me but it didn't matter cause we had a great time! Yep, and I bet that tiera gives you plenty of headaches too!

Pffftttt Brisen thats TIARA and I only wear it on special occasions, like the mad "mad mamas tractor pull"Yes I do, I have for about a year already, I just hope that all of this works to help my TMJ  get somewhat better than it has been for years.

Now that's a visual!

Mew, what did you and your kids do today?

You really are missing out by not doing French Karen.

You know how the ol' saying goes... "once you've had French, there's no going back"

Or something like that...

Work tomorrow, then 3 DAY WEEKEND!  Yippee!!!!!!!

hummm maybe thats why I love French roast coffee so good, even though I come from English royalty stock

woohoo have a great holiday weekend Brisen! Any big plans?

Yep, I have a date with my bed.

But boy is my tongue sore from biting it!

g/nite Brisen. Have a good sleepBest of all they didn't fight with each otherLOL

Spit it out Karen! You know you're dying too

Mew, we used to have great fun in the pet store!  Do you live in an area where there is a branch of 4H?  My kids all participated in 4H and it was a wonderful experience.  They have a program for raising rabbits, and it teaches the kids such responsibility.  And they are so proud when they show their animal!  That actually would be a great resource for finding a bunny to buy, because they can tell you about the different breeds and their differences.

I'm sure your son will love having a bunny!

Sounds like fun Mew, me and my son practically lived in pet stores when he was young. He wanted to be just like Steve Irwin. We have had every kind of animal they sell!

Do you have a Mennonite community near you? Just curious. They are really humble, sweet people.

Prudence is a priority Karen? hummm glad to know that...

Okay, I hate to do this when we were getting along so well, LOL, but I need to go to bed.  I have to do a mad day of cleaning tomorrow!

My son's girlfriend is coming out from Chicago to spend the weekend with us.  It's the third time she has been here this summer - and I haven't even changed the sheets on the guest bed since the last time she was here!

Actually we have been looking for bunnies at the humane society and have even been checking out on the net locally. we I want a netherland dwarf, I've had one when my oldest was just a baby.
Mo we do outside of the city but I'm not quite sure where. I like supporting their store, your right they are sweet people.

I'm just catching up and have read this thread with many laughs. My mother lives in a small town (used to be a village) called Tewkesbury. I swear they are all related. Long arms, big knuckle and foreheads. Not far from there is a place called the Forrest of Dean, beautiful place, the sheep wonder over the roads and have right of way.... but the 'forresters' are all related and all look like each other.... and the sheep!
