Got attack in bottom of my heel and boy it really is painful everytime

i put pressure on it by walking. Taking indomethecin for 3 days now but still hurts. Any alternatives out there? i heard peroxicam works good ? i get this gout flair up once or 2 times a year and it lasts for a week and it really sucks.

Be interested in taking a look at Emergency Gout Treatment section at http://www.ICuredMyGout.org to see if it helps?  Take care.
JYY139328.6541666667Like you, I have had the exact same symptoms... on the heel and almost impossible to walk. It has occurred twice in 2 months. After the first attack which lasted 10 days, a friend told me about cranberry juice. On day one after the 2nd attack, I drank almost a litre of cranberry juice. By morning I was feeling 80% better and by that evening after 24 hours, completely better (with great relief). Don't know if it was a fluke, but I'm keeping a bottle of the stuff around!I take wild lingzhi and Chinese complementary herbs for life to treat gout. NO medicines and doctor to see for over 2 decades, wow.I have had both gout and Plantar fasciitis.   I had a terrible pain in the bottom of my heel, which made it impossible to walk.  That ended up being Plantar fasciitis instead of gout.  I went and had arches fitted for my shoes and have not had a re-occurrence of the Plantar fasciitis.  Today I woke up with gout, trying to figure out the fastest way to clear it up, since I am going on vacation Friday and need to be able to walk. Hi, just got same situation with my brother-in-law. I'm also seeking some advices how to manage those severe attacks. everytime I tured around my gout was acting up and my husband stopped by the health food store and got some cherry concentrate and keeps it mixed up and I drink about 4 oz a day but I also take the allipuronol(sp) it seems to help..My son has gout pretty bad along with psoriatic arthritis. He is on coltrozene and humira.  He also has tried many natural remedies along with watching his diet closely.
A relative has just given him a new natural supplement about a month ago and so far he is very happy with the results.  He has not had any attack from gout.  His joints do not ache as much.  He is sleeping better and has gained some much needed energy.  I will let you all know about his progress and get the name of this natural supplement ASAP.
Thank you all
