Well I did it today.  As some of you know I run a receiving area for a big retailer.  Well I have trucks that pull in and unload, we have bays with deckplates that when you pull on the chain, they are SUPPOSE to pop up and the end flips up, then you walk on it to come down and into the truck that is unloading.  Well the one my milk driver used has little more bounce then usual and he doesn't know how to use it so I did it for him no problem, but the trouble came when it was time to pop it up to let the truck leaves.  What happens is when you pop it up after you are finish using it, it is suppose go up then the end flips down and then it pops back into the floor.  IT5 HAS NEVER DONE THAT SINCE THE BUILDING HAS BEEN OPEN!!!!!!Ewww! I can feel the pain just from what you described. Hope it doesn't come back to bite you tommorow. .................oooooooooooooooow........................
Make sure you fill out an accident report, in case there are complications.
Fill out an accident report, get witnesses names, and go to doctor.  This is the kind of accident that can cause medical issues down the road.  It's better to have your documentation done at the beginning and not try and piece it together at a later date when you're in more pain.  Employers look suspiciously at accident claims that are made after the fact and so do the workers' comp carriers.     LindyGIRL; Be careful! I hope you won't feel worse tomorrow. Take it easy tonight. Yep!  Accident report and you may feel worse tomorrow.  So sorry for your pain.

Meme,

that sounded terribly painful and I agree with the others about filling out an accident report. I hope you feel better tomorrow, if not please alert someone and get checked. Even though your co-worker is on vaca. work will have to just deal with it. If you were abducted by aliens, they would make do.... well, you know what I mean. Hugs!
