I'm a ranch wife and a mother of four and a grandmother of 5. I came down with my RA when I was 26 and had 3 kids - it was TERRIBLE!!!! Evey dr thought I was making it up!! Finally I was used as a ginny pig for a dr teaching class - and they showed all the dr why I had RA and why it didn't show up as RA on tests. Ups and down through the years but never as bad as it was in the beginning.. So I'm the one you look at when they've had RA for 30 years.
Hi Lauren...glad(sort of) that you are here. What are they treating you with. Have you been on any meds long standing or did they just let the damage happen.
I am a newby to RA/PA...so I am still trying to get some control.
I just wanted to say welcome and stay with us. Join the daily topic if you like. We keep track of eachother there mostly. It also gives us an avenue to vent....mine have been venting all week.
