Hello all,
I've read that MTX in higher doses has been used for many years to treat breast, head and neck cancers. So I was thinking, for those of us who take the lower MTX dose, is there any protective factor involved, helping us to avoid those cancers either now or in the future? Have any of you read or know about any studies with regard to this or have you had a discussion with your doctor? I'll be interested to hear what my RD says when I ask him, but that won't be until mid-October. So what do you think?
I don't know but have wondered many times myself. Please let us know what your doctor says!I've wondered about that too. I see my RD on the seventeenth, maybe I'll beat you to the punch!! If I do, I'll let you know what he says.
