millions of thanks | Arthritis Information

I just want to say millions of thanks to the people on this board for helping me when things were getting tough this year and I was having real problems coping with it all ..... particularly Pip if she's reading.
Ive now been on Enbrel for 5 weeks and the rheumy has confirmed that I am clinically in remission ... can run up stairs, no joint pain and all blood markers are remarkably low.
This is where the internet fails, because I can't hug you and I cant give you flowers or some kind of thank you gift... but you are all in my heart.
much love to you all,  anna

WOOHOO ANNA! Thats wonderful news. It's always good to hear someone is in remission. You take care and keep us posted! I've missed you

There must be something in the UK water

So glad you are feeling better, and the meds are working for you. I think it gives us all a little more hope, knowing that it really can happen.

Wow!!! Running up stairs?!!! I can't even imagine the freedom of being able to do that. I'm so happy for you!

Stay well,

Hugs, Nini

Anna, this is great news!!!  I couldn't be happier for you.  Hugs right back your way

Linda

Oh WONDERFUL ANA!!!!!

I'm so happy for you!!!! :)

michelle,
first I have to get off pred which I have started to taper.    I see the  rheumy in 3 months time to check all still ok, and then another review.

Awesome news Anna!!What super news, Anna.  I'm so happy for you.  LindyGreat news!  I am so happy for you!

Hi Anna

I am sooooooooo glad you are feeling better. Yay!!!!! I am just getting my youngest ready to go back to school this week so I will be visiting the boards more often next week. I hope your summer was good( despite the weather). I am reallly pleased for you, it does give us hope when others respond to treatment and I know im not on anything but I could be prescribed enbrel at some time and i will take hope from you.

So glad for you!  Whooo-hoo!  Running up stairs ... that's fantastic!  Done any cartwheels yet?  ;-))

BTW, the other shoe company in the UK I was thinking of before when I posted for you last month was Softwalker.

However, sounds like your feet have improved and long may that continue.  (It certainly will make me think again about Enbrel if my MTX injections don't have the desired effect!).

Best wishes to you

Joolie
