I've been away for a while as life had got so hectic. We have moved 200 miles from Worcestershire to Kent and had all that it entailed with getting three girls into school and moving work as well. House is nearly straight and this coming week the girls start their new school and Robert and I go back to work (we are in the same department). Needless to say my body does not like all this upheaval.
Latest on the dx - most probably lupus as the bloodwork is getting more positive. I am waiting for a referral to a new rheumy at the new hospital. As I am now down to 3.5mg my walking is getting worse. It hasn't helped falling over in the garden and landing on my knee (ow!).
Hope you are all as well as can be. I hope to catch up with you soon.
Love Judi xx
Hi Judi,
Welcome back! Sounds like you've been very busy.
I'm sorry to hear you are having more un dxd issues. It's bad enough to have two diseases attacking you, much less three!
Please let us know how things progress. I think it's important we keep track of each other. I'll definitely say a little prayer for you tonite.
You take care!
Kathy
Hi Judi, moving is exciting, but really tiring as well. From what I know, Kent is beautiful and must be warmer for you too, which I am sure you will welcome.Hi Cathy and Chico
Thanks for your messages. We are getting "back to normal" (whatever that is
I have noticed that it is warmer down here, although the last couple of days the autumn morning mists have started but the sun shines through after a while and we got to about 21 deg C this afternoon. My husband can't wait until it gets cooler as we have a log burning stove in our new lounge (not had one before) and he has spent most of the last four weeks tearing/cutting/sawing paper/cardboard/kindling ready for the season. The fire is all set ready but it was too warm tonight (patio doors open!).
Soon to bed. We have the "Last Night of the Proms" on TV: a great British tradition and a good singalong, too.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

hi JudiGood to hear from you Judi!
I'm glad the worst of the move is over and you have some wonderful comforts to look forward to. We have a wood burning fireplace in the livingroom and I love a fire in the fall and winter. The weather here in the Northwest US is similar to the UK according to friends I've known who lived there at one time.
Hope your walking is a little better now. Please keep us up to date with how you are doing.
Take care, Kathy
Since we always share our frustration/depression and are so supportive of

Kathy
Slept a solid 8 hours, had a busy day today and am feeling ok at the
