YAY For me!!!!!!!!!!!  I started the chatter thread

Well, I spent a long night with a well fed mosquito buzzing in my ear and no doubt feasting on my blood. And an even longer night with a swelled and painful (and temporarily useless) wrist.  The question to me now is this:  Do I brave the freeway one handed? Can a girl with a flared wrist handle a feisty armadillo? How many fruits and veggies can I chop with a hand that's MIA???

Hate to call in last minute, espeically when I know they're kicking off the school year today too.

Hope it's a perdfect morning for you all, with sunshine and the best coffee everHI Linncn, congrats on starting the chatter thread!!!!  I think you should have the day off, you shouldn't be driving one handed especially on a freeway.  Give yourself a sick mark and enjoy a few more coffees!!!  do you have a splint you can wear at night?  I wear mine when the wrists are flaring and they really do help, its awful if they are flaring together though because then I can't get them on or off by myself, ha ha, with my sleep apnoea mask, and my air boot soon to arrive, I feel like Darth Vader!!!!! !  Have a good day, Janie.

Thanks Janie...Or is it Darth

Linda

Morning!!  Woke up VERY stiff and stuffy from this stupid sinus infection.  I think I did way to much out in the yard yesterday...Owell cant do much about it now eh?  Kelsay starts her new school today.. She seems excited about it.

Link~ You should have the day of for a few reasons...1. Cause your not feelin well and 2 cause it the day after Labor day.  shouldnt everyone have the day after labor day off??? OK so its not like the day after thanksgiving or Christmas but its a holiday...Ok i think all these drugs are messing up my head LMAO

hey shannon!  how's things with you today?  im sure that kelsay will be great at her new school.  everyone wants to know the new girl at that age!  but how will your stiff joints handle the 2 mile walk? i guess there's always a way to do what ya gotta.

i did end up calling in. their really is little to nothing i can do there like this.  the good news is that i was wrong, they don't have any programs scheduled for today, so my not being there won't be too much a hardship.

Link, things are alright here.  Just tryin to get laundry done and some things around the house before I have to leave for Ohio.  We dont know when it is yet but we are gonna leave i think the day before, not sure yet but I wanna make sure that Ive got everything done what I need to get done.  Hurting today but owell... Glad you ended up calling in, you dont want it to get any worse then what it is right?

Yeah you're right Shannon.  I just hate letting someone down, ya know?  I do have to say bro and SIL have never once acted like I have.  It's just a thing in my own head.

Are you taking Kelsay with you to Ohio?  If no, who will watch her?

No, Im not gonna bring her.  Hubby will bring her out when...ya you know...Im gonna call my other grandma (moms mom) and see if she can watch her.  I hate having to take her out of school when she is just starting but I really dont have anybody by the house that I know enough to watch her and bring her to school and stuff.

So kelsay will go there? Too bad your mom cant stay at your house.  I know how ya feel about taking her out of school, but if you have to you have to.  And it's only kindergarten.  She'll be fine.  Besides, she sounds like a pretty sharp kid.

We're getting ready to move - going next week.  Lil's having her left ear tube removed on Monday.  I wanted to get it done before we went to Utah.  Anyhoo - hope you all are well.

Hugs,

Jen

                   Good Afternoon Everyone!

Boy did I sleep late! Noon! The house is so quiet with all the family gone back to work. Very peaceful

Just want to say hi for now and hope ya'll are doing well after the long weekend. It feels like Monday to me so I will be confused all week. What's new huh?

Sorry your wrist is no better Link, better go get that brace!

Shannon you probably need to be resting up for your trip. Hope Kelsay has a good day at her new school.

                 TTYL

Hi Mona~  Hope you have a very good day as well. My wrist is feeling better now, drugs can be a wonderful thing

Jen...your poor little bunny!  That's what I used to call my daughter when she was little.  When you called her that it made me smile I woke up this AM and my left ear was all plugged up. Haha I told Justin it was "ear-itating"

Katie~ doncha hate it when you get all excited for somethng and then BAM!  It ain't gonna happen?  You'll find your car, it's just sitting out there waiting for you to find it and take it home.  Like a lost puppy.

Maybe your ears just need to be ear-igated?? I'm beyond addicted. Play it until you win the first round, and I swear you'll be hooked. The little music at the end makes me GIGGLE so much!!

Well we just got back from Kelsays dentist appointment and NO CAVITIES!!!!  So we are good to go for 6 months.

How is everyone elses day been so far???

Yay for Kelsay!!!! You should celebrate with some ice cream and candy...LOL

Link - hahaha I'm SOOOO gonna use that on Justin!! Hey, where's Joonie?  I haven't seen her around for days.I dunno, she hasn't been on AIM either.

Jooooonnnniiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
speaking of missing people, where's everybody else???Well, Katie ol' buudy, that's a big fat bummer about your hondaNo joke man!!

And my ears are getting worse. *sigh* I "ear-igated" them and it didn't do shhheeeiiitteee. Blah!
So I had this weird dream last night  where I was in this big government building trying to get past security, only I didn't have the proper ID.  So I'm standing around trying to figure out what to do when all of the sudden their is this big muslim uprising.  They're running throught the place, just pummeling people and beating them down.  So I escaped around the side of the building where their was this big ol' semi truck with the back door open.  And who's inside?  Well, the Rolling Stones of course.  So I'm talkin' to Mick and the boys and they want to give me their cell number in case I need help, but they were hesitiant because they thought I'd be calling them all the time.  So I'm sayin....look give me your number or don't, I don't really care. I'm not that big a fan.  So they gave me the number, and then the dream just kinda changed into something too jumbled to try and tell it.Why would ears just get clogged.  I'm going to google that for you. How WEIRD  Ok this is what I found out.  First, do you have sinus problems right now?  If so, some folks take sudefed, some just ya know move their jaw around or yawn to pop them open again.  OR  I don't know if you have TMJ, but I do know that you have trouble with RA in your jaw.  Well TMJ can cause your ears to feel stuffed up, so I thought maybe your RA jaw could do that to.I go through dream spurts.  Like I'll have very bizarre and detailed dreams for a stretch then go for a while thinking I didn't have any, or I know I did, but it was too vague to recall. My nose has been half stuffy for days. I can breathe, but I have drainage (down my throat too) I DO have TMJ. And it hurts my ears to eat right now.

What's weird is that it seems to be coming and going. All of a sudden, my ears are clear....then WHAM! Stuffed again. :|
No joke man!!
If it's a middle ear infection, irrigating them won't help.  Try a decongestant for a couple of days (assuming you don't have high blood pressure or heart issues).

If your allergies are acting up, try a neti pot (nasal irrigation).  It sounds gross, but it was the only thing that allowed me to finally break the constant sinus infection cycle I had last year.  And once I got the sinus infections stopped, the problems with my ears got much better too.

SinuCleanse.com
Oh and take an antihistamine.  Claritin (generic = loratadine) is not sedating; one pill will last 24 hours.  Zyrtec works better for me, but can be a bit sedating.  It's also prescription and it's expensive.  I take Zyrtec in the morning and benadryl at night.  The benadryl helps me sleep, and also helps prevent nighttime stuffiness from allergies (I think the zyrtec tends to wear off at night). Oh Man!!  Why did I google that when we have our own encyclopedia of brainiac knowledge right here in our midst!!  It must be nice to just happen to know SO much!! EEwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Jas!!  arriscolwell39329.7685069444Antihistamines dry my mouth and nose out. I get sores on the inside of my nose, and my lips and tongue crack and peel.  I do think there may be a link to allergies, but I have yet to find an allergy med that doesn't either A. Make me EVEN DIZZIER than before B. Dry out my nose and mouth to the point of sores and cracks C. Dry my throat so bad that I can't swallow or D. Give me a massive migraine.

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH >.< Music seems to be *killing* my ears right now.
Your TONGUE cracks??  OUCH.  Never heard of that.Perhaps it's time to go to an ear-nose-throat doctor.  He/she will be able to straighten this all out.  I went through similar problems.  I was on Augmentin, Zithromax, Biaxin, Cipro, Levaquin... it finally stopped after a month of levaquin and religious nasal irrigation (neti pot at work, Water Pik with nasal attachment at home).  I almost ended up having sinus surgery.
Yes, in the front I get these cracking lines and its so SORE and dry. I just don't get enough saliva to keep it wet I guess.

I do have a geographic tongue though, that may be part of the problem.
Antihistamines dry my mouth and nose out. I get sores on the inside of my nose, and my lips and tongue crack and peel.
neti pot... neti pot... neti pot...

EWWWWWW!  Of couse I looked at the really nasty pic first

I haven't ever heard of that before though.  Crazy.

Hahaha I swear, that was the nastiest pic of it I've ever seen.  I get it sometimes and don't even realize I have it. I should take a pic sometime. I think it looks cool. But maybe that's because it's my own body? Who knows!

Hey ya'll Katie I had an ear infection a couple weeks ago. Ouch! Sorry.

Hi Link and Jas how is everyone tonight? Where is Joonie and Brisen? I haven't seen Shelly for a while either

My Dr's nurse left me a message and said all my RA blood work came back negative so I guess thats good huh? All they said was my cholesterol was too high and I knew that the day I went!

I gotta go, my head just went "WOOSH" and now I'm dizzy and I gotta lay down. Ugh!  Oh gosh Katie are you all right? Sounds like you have an inner ear infection

The one I wanted didn't take my lenses, to get a new zoom would cost an extra 200, it didn't have the right batteries, and all up just wouldn't be any point to getting it.

I ended up getting a 2 gig memory card for my olympus.  and will just have to wait (years) to get my new camera cause I might as well get the mega one when I do move up.

Mo do you ever just wish that you could be sero positive?  I wish I was cuz that would take away for good the what if's that are always in the back of my head.

But I guess that's just silly.  And I'm glad your blood work was all good.

I don't know about the others.  it's been a slow day.

Katie~wonder what that woosh is about.  Feel better.

Pammy. that's too bad.  But at least your still have someting to look forward to. I had a nasty rotten day at work.  Last week we were busy packing everything up for the movers, and today everyone spent the day unpacking in our new building.  We've moved from purgatory right to the bowels of hell.  The phones don't work.  My network connection doesn't work.  We've been prohibited from running our rogue wireless access point.  It's more brightly lit than an operating room.  The coffee man installed the coffee machine but forgot the coffee.  The new place is even farther away from my house... it took almost an hour to get to work this morning, and I despise the town and everyone in it.   There is ONE restroom on our floor with TWO toilets for 20 women (plus customers who come in for training).  Yea, that's going to be fun after lunch.  And the worst part - THEY FORGOT THE GODDAMN COKE MACHINE.

Of course, I could just be overreacting because I forgot to put Zoloft in my pill organizer this week.  I really want to reach out and punch someone. JasmineRain39329.7887152778

Yeah Link I'm going to call back tomorrow and write down the numbers. I could go get them but they are out of town and I'm tired

ooohhh Jasmine is bright and cheery tonight

You still crack me up Jas even when you're mad

Trey is fine, hubby kept him busy at work today and he's already asleep, thanks

It was his friends girlfriend that was in the accident and they think they're going to be ok. Stephanie has a broken leg and some cuts and bruises but is not life threatening. Trey handled it well I must say.

 Where ya going Link?

Your day sounds like it would have been tolerable if it wasn't for the coke machine.

Hope you have a better day tomorrow

Hi Darrel, I'm Mona, I don't think we've met . Just wanted to say welcome to the board

How's everybody this fine evening?
Jasmine don't hold anything back tell us how you really feel. (lol)

Your day sounds like it would have been tolerable if it wasn't for the coke machine.

I was just lookin for you Karen. I saw your name and thought you weren't speaking

your little guy in the window is creepy because that is how i look when i walk. it's like seeing yourself walk in a store window.(lol)

Jasmine are you trying to confuse me on purpose? Are you Kelly now? Or are you still Jasmine? sheesh!

Pepsi is KING!

Darrel, I like my "guy in the window" because he walks just like me!  That's one of the reasons I picked him.  Just one

maybe it will be there  tomorrow for you.
Jasmine are you trying to confuse me on purpose? Are you Kelly now? Or are you still Jasmine? sheesh!

Pepsi is KING!
"Jasminerain" is just a name I made up when I joined the forum.  I was drinking jasmine tea and it was raining.  My name is Kelly.

AAWW but I love Jasmine, it is the name of Trey's ex g/f. The one and only that I have ever lovedKelly, I knew it was your name from the PM you sent me, but I know how some people are about their real names, so I didn't squeal.

Yeah Brisen I was asking about yaTake, or not take?? LOL Shows how much I know!

 Katie you scared me

Darrel I don't take methatrexate? But I still love Pepsi, then SundropLIKE A HOOVER GALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well Karen, if the shoe fits...

  I don't get it Karen?

Take the medecine Katie it won't hurt you. It may not be as potent but it will help your ears and nose.

Mona - Karen's snivelling about being called the 'terrible three'.Well Karen said take it and so did Mona.

Too slow Kelly!! I'm poppin the pills!! I wasn't referring to that exactly - I think she just called us the KKK!

The terrible KKK'SWell if Kami's behind would come online, there'd be 4. I just like it when there's a lot of K names. When I was in school it was almost always JUST me. Or me and ONE other Katie, and we were the only K names. How weird?

I caught that before you Brisen!

Sigh

Who's  Kami? and where is Joonie??? Have you talked to her Katie?

 You're the Valley Girl Brisen

Karen of course you caught it first No I want to be royalty dammit!

Hi, everyone..I sometimes wonder if anyone will still be here when I finally get on.

Katie, I know I'm too slow, but I don't take anything that's been expired longer than a year. Even then, it depends on what it is.

I'm really sorry about your car loan. I think you were not meant to get that car. There is one out there for you, and you'll know it when you see it. I know how excited you are to get a new car, but just try to be patient and the right one will turn up.

By the way, Kelly/Jasmine, I can't help it, the nose thing is just really gross!

By the way, Mona, what is Sundrop? I saw someone else mention it once, but I don't know what it is.

That's what Mona pours up her nose!

MONA SNARFS

SUNDROP

High five on that one Karen!!  Snarfs? Is that a hillbilly word?

Yep, it's this hillbilly's word.  You don't know Snarf?

Nope. Never heard "snarf" before.

I remember Snorks.......but that was like.....a cartoon or something. And a card game, I believe...
*raises hand*.... I've never heard the word snarf either.

Oh yeah I'm afraid of Brisen all right! She's more afraid of everything than I am

Sundrop is soda made by Coco cola, sort of like mountain dew and I have snorted it a time or time and spit it on my puter screenHahahaha check out definition #7  A time or TWO!We Californian's say 'scarfed it down' rather than 'snarfed it down'.Haha urban dictionary is cracking me up. I clicked on the word of the day, and saw this one:

a combination of words that smell f**kin' great together!

"remember when that homeless guy asked us to put our bacon in his unwashed sock? that smelt so good."

"i miss the great-smelling chats we used to have."

"nothin' like a bacon scentence."

We say scarfed the same way you do Brisen.  For us Connecticut folk, Snarf is when you are taking a drink and accidently sniff some of the soda up your nose.

 You scarf chicken

You snarf snuff

lolololol

Haven't heard snarf in ages, my brothers used to snarf stuff at the dinner table all the time. One of them snarfed mince meat pie up his nose and it was stuck in there for a week. That really made us laugh when we were eating.

 Keep em coming southern gals!!

LOL Deidre!!!

Do people actually snarf on purpose???

Thanks Deidre!  Finally someone speaks my language!

Ew, mincemeat up the nose - for a week!!!!

Well I'm southern too ya know! I live in southern california!

Responsible partiers choose a Designated Driver to drive during a night of debauchery. The Designated Drunk is chosen by the Driver.

The Designated Drunk assumes responsibility for all drink offers given to the Driver. The Designated Drunk will take all offers of toasts, shots, and drinking competitions in place of the Driver.

Random drunk: "Hey dude! Come have a shot with me!"
Designated Driver: "Gary, you're DD. Take that shot for me."
Gary: "Alright."

Brisen, you live in LA LA Land!I've never had one Katie, but have probably been one before! My parents were really strict and we weren't supposed to laugh at the dinner table. Someone would always start something and then it would all end when somebody would shoot milk out their nose and my dad would freak out.I've had and been one!!

Katie get your nose outta the dictionary

LA LA like in Los Angeles??? Why yes Mona, I DO live not far from Los Angeles!

I didn't say that Karen did, Valley Girl

Point made, I'd say!LOL Go Gale.

Well aren't you just the little comic tonight Karen!

I am cracking up here girls

Those of you with dogs who don't believe me, call them over and give those paws a sniff!

So you DID mean LA LA as in Los Angeles, right Karen?? CRAP!!! I thought Mona was sniffing dog paws!

LA LA LA LA LA

*sigh* Why yes Karen, ALL us natural blondes live in LA. It's those wannabe blondes that live in LA LA!

 Keep Up Brisen!!
Hey Kelly, I have some Sudafed I'm debating taking............

The expiration date is 2005.

Take, or not take?? LOL Shows how much I know!
If you've kept it in a cool dry place it's probably OK.  At the very least, it would not have degraded into something harmful.  But pseudoephedrine is cheap (though you probably have to purchase it at the pharmacy window).
OK, I had a REALLY tough day at work so ya'll (like the way I said that like a southerner) need to cut me some slack here! It's been in the bathroom cabinet.........hahaha So I guess at the worst it just won't do anything, right?? And yeah, we gotta get all that crap at the pharmacy window. But I'm glad they do that now, our Meth problem was outa hand a few years ago, and has really gotten in control again just recently. I think the new laws have really helped our area. I sorry Gale.  Why was your day so rough?

Did you save any lives Florence NightenGale? Pun intended

I told you so Katie!!!
Does anyone else think that dog feet smell like popcorn?  I always think of popcorn when I smell my dogs' feet.

Those of you with dogs who don't believe me, call them over and give those paws a sniff!
Everyone knows dog feet smell like Frito's.

Royaltys dogs' feet smell like flowers and honeysuckleKitty feet smell like................warm kitty.... Kitty feet smell like litter pan.Royalty, smelling your dog's feet, royalty, smelling your dog's feet. Those two don't go together. I have never nor will I ever smell my dog's feet. They don't smell like the litter pan. Cause I have great litter, and OCD clean kitties. They smell like warm kitty. That is just the only way to describe it. It's yummy though. SEE Mona! Royalty doesn't smell their dog's feet! Just ask Deidre! How can you have an up close and personal relationship with your fur baby if you've never smelled their feet? I mean really. arriscolwell39329.852025463My cats' feet smell like lilacs.  It's from the baking soda-based carpet powder in the litter box. Exactly Katie.  Come on Deidre - take a walk on the wild side! You all probably have inside pets. Our beagle is outside a lot, walking in who knows what. She hasn't had a bath all summer, there's gotta be gross stuff between her toes. Aside from the fact she doesn't like us to pull at her feet, i.e. clipping her toenails is a nightmare. My beagle is an inside dog, and she gets a bath every Saturday. But she still smells like Frito's by the end of the week.

Royalty loves their dogs more than their kids Deidre, Sheesh ya'll don't know nuttin bout royalty!

Poochie's paws smell like Ojon hot oil treatment. Stoopid lady in waiting didn't rinse her good enough! Off with her Head I say!! GAURDS...

Wow you really must be royalty if your dog gets hot oil treatments on it's feet.

I bow to you your highness!

Katie I played your game today!! it was fun. I beat it and now have to pay if I want to get the internet download.

I tried to tell ya, I'm a princessNow I make sure to bring a Coke and a book into the bathroom with me if I use Nair. OMG Kelly, that's a great story!!!   LMBO!! Such a visual! I'm glad you at least got your priorities right Kelly! And I'm sure the cat's glad too!OMG Kelly.........I may pass that story on at the mention of Nair. It's just too good!!

You ever been to Boone Karen? You'd understand.

Jas I can see it now LOL, you and the cat LOLOL runnin naked LOLOL... ewwwww
LMBO!! Such a visual! I'm glad you at least got your priorities right Kelly! And I'm sure the cat's glad too!
Alrighty ladies.........sleeping meds are kicking it, it's time to hit the hay!!! Nighty night! Sweet dreams Katie!Me too!  I'm getting tired so I'm gonna go to bed.  Night all! Nite Kelly!Ok, so who's left here? One 'K', one princess, and one LA girl???

Karen tell us a story, pleaseeeee

Yeah Karen, pretty pleeeeeeze.

Or I could tell Brisen about hog killin time on the royal farm

Hmm,

What to tell, what to tell!

 A scary story!!!

Did I tell you about the headless ghost that used to visit my mom when she was young? Why a story from the south...what else!

 Me neither !!

My mother grew up in a coal camp, and lived in a company house.  They are very small, 4 room houses.  Two bedrooms, LR and kitchen.  To get into the bedroom where my mom slept, you had to go through her parents bedroom.  The door between the two rooms was very warped and would make a loud noise when you opened or closed it.

Well shortly after they moved into this company house, my mom would wake up to see this headless man in a miner's uniform open the door to her room, walk over to her bed and put his fists down on the side of her bed and start bouncing the bed up and down.  My mom would scream, he would disappear, and her parents would come running in.

This happened every night and they always told her it was just a bad dream, until she pointed out that when they came into the room, the door was open, not closed as they had left it.  And they had not heard the noise it made at all!  From then on she slept on the couch in the LR and didn't see him again!

She always thought it was a miner who must have died in the mines, losing his head, and he was coming home to check on his kids.

Okay, your turn!

OOOHHH that was scary. Now I have cold chills

I can't imagine being a child and seeing that every night. How scary is that!

I've heard so many stories similiar to that, in fact joonie see's something at the foot of her bed sometimes at night too. Really strange!

Yeah and ya know that was very real to Joonie too, must be terrifying

My son just got home, so I'm going to sign off so I can go talk to him. I'll see you girls tomorrow night!

Night Gale!

Catch ya tomorrow, I hope!  LA LA LA LA LA

Good night Brisen TTYL don't work to hard

Thanks for the story Karen that was awesome! Have you ever had any encounters with the other side?

Well, the theatre we are part of is haunted.  I saw a black shadow cross across one of the aisles of the theatre one night when I was alone in the house.

We went on a ghost hunt there, going down in the catacombs under the theatre, and I took a lot of photos.  Got a lot of orbs!  I spoke to spirits and said "Okay, here's your chance to be seen, get in the picture and smile."  My son Jamie put his arms out like he was putting them on someone's shoulders, and sure enough, an orb was in the picture on either side of him!

How about you?  Have you had any experiences?

EEEWWW Weren't you scared to death? My gramma and grampa that lived in the mountains in the late 1800's used to tell some strange things like, one time, she and grampa were in bed and gramma was pregnant and she was praying and she said two round white lights came from the foot of the bed and stopped, and just hung there, then went all the way up to the ceiling and disappeared.

Gramma started crying and grampa asked her what was wrong and she said this baby is going to die and so will our next one , She said the Lord told her. And it happend exactly like that!

Oh, what a sad story.  Your poor grandmother!

My grandmother always knew when someone close to her had died.  She said an angel with black wings would come down and touch her on the shoulder.

Wow that would be terrible to know that! Did I tell you about the bird that sang in the middle of the night before my dad died?Yes, you did.  That was an amazing story.  It's interesting that it was a bird - my grandmother had so many superstitions based in the Appalachian mountain folklore.  She believed if a wild bird got loose in your house it meant someone was going to die.Okay so I'm back.

I think there's a connection between some of my more severe panic attacks and sleep. I took a regular sleeping pill, and I am on the verge of a MASSIVE attack. I had a small one last night, and just blew it off. But I did the same thing last night, sleeping pill. All it is, is Unisom. When I take my muscle relaxer to fall asleep I don't have any problems. But I ran out. I wonder what the difference is???
HI Hillhoney,Mo, just caught up on the chatter. Wow you guys have had quite the evening!

I always heard that too and one flew in our garage and up the stairs and nested in our Christmas Tree. We didn't know it was there for a while and it pooped all over my packages

have you ever heard about the Brown Mountain Lights right up the road here in N.C.? It has been on tv for years so you probably have.

Mo-Nana, did it nest in the tree while it was UP at christmas???

Hi Mew and Katie we are telling ghost stories.*shivers*

Katie look on the Unisom Bottle and see what ingredient is listed, maybe benadryl. Did you take the Sudafed?

Yes it did Katie, but it was a house wren and we couldn't catch it for days! It would fly back into the treeI have a ghost story, 3 nites before my baby son passed away I had a dream where I was told to be prepared and say my goodbyes. so when it did happen I was so at peace with it ,everyone else was freaked. Trust me this one was a good dream.. Unisom is Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride *blinks* whatever the hell that is. Hahaha

And yes, I DID take the Sudafed.

On my way to the kitchen to get the Unisom bottle, I see that the kitten has at some point in time, stolen my oven mitt, and used it to "bury" her cat food.............she's a strange one...
Oh Mew how bittersweet for you! How old was he? Do you mind telling us the dream? Ok the reason you're wired  is you've taken two anthistamines.. Diphenhydramine is Benadryl

Well my next pregnancy was my daughter, and I almost forgot about it.  But then I had my son, and one day as I went to get him from the crib, I realized I was reliving the dream I had had years before.  I think maybe the spirit of my first child came through in my son.

Actually Sudafed is a decongestant, so I don't know what the interaction could be. Don't ever mix medicines again!!!I didn't take two last night!  His name was Colton, He was 5 1/2 months when it happened. He lived in hospital his whole little life and for the last 3 1/2 months ,I lived with him there. The way the dream happened was that I tucked him in for the nite, and the nurses convinced me to go and take a bath,(they even gave me a little gift of bath salts)So I went and had the bath and took a few zzzzzz's in there. Thats where the dream happened. He came to me about the size of a 3yr old in a white hospital gown, took my hand and led me to a house made of stone in the mountains(i've never seen this place before and still haven't) and then he said I'm okay  and some how when I woke I knew he had 3 days left.  AWWW wow now I really have cold chills. Thank you for sharing that with us Mew. That is awesomeMew that's such a sad and sweet story. Thank you for sharing. I don't mind I like sharing his story, he was a beautiful baby .   Katie I think you've counter acted the meds against each other and that is why you feel panicky. Try to do deep breathing exercises and put a cold cloth on your neck. Just talk to us and it will pass in a few minutes. Ok?Yup I'm at a pretty good spot right now. Far enough out of it to know what's going on. And that is why I came here, distraction is my best medication!!!  That's cause we're spe-shul!Katie, my cat is goofy too. I have tile in my kitchen and the cat likes to take a run and skid into the rug in front of the sink. So I am forever finding the rug all acordianed? upLOL Mew, thank you for sharing the story of your precious son. I can't even imagine the pain. Bless you.

 And I'm royalty

Hi Miles do you have any ghost stories to share, or real life experiences like Mew's. This is the best and sweetest and saddest stories I have ever heard.

k, so why are you reminding us AGAIN that you are Royalty????k, nevery mind it was Karen...I gues we have two of the special K's with us.Hahaha Mew, mine does that too! We have a long runner in the kitchen hallway, and that thing is ALWAYS in bunches, turned sideways, IN THE LIVING ROOM, etc etc.  And where have you been little lady Shelly, I been asking about you? I have to remind everyone lest they forgetThankyou Gwen, the pain was worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat if it meant that I could have him with me again.

Cause I am forgetable.  I have been learing on, but have been too sore to type, 'cause you all talk to fast for me to type these days.

I am nervous about the Remicade tomorrow.

I've never had remicade what type of drug is it?

No NO Shelly I didn't mean you were forgettable, I mean that I have to keep reminding everyone that I am royalty so they won't forget

I bet you are nervous but I bet you'll do fine and feel really good in a short while. We will pray you do!

See...where's Kelly when you need her...?

It is a biologic...stronger and can be raised depending how you are responding.  It is a two to three hour IV infusion at the doc's office.

I really hope the Remicade is the answer for you Shelly.  Grammaskittles is starting Remicade soon also.

I found out yesterday that it is made from rat protein.  (I think?)

When I posted that the lights came on.  I had to take a pain pill after dinner to mow the lawn and work on some weeds, and I just took the next one.  So I am very slow...which is why I haven't been posting.

Alrighty ladies, I can't keep my eyes open anymore. Wish me luck!! I'm gonna leave the TV on tonight, that always helps too.

Nighty night again! Wow I would be nervous too! Just think we're all pulling for you so you wont't be alone cause you'll be in our thoughts!  How is Gramma, has anyone talked to her? Katie have you heard from Joonie?

Good Night Katydid

I think I am calling it a night.

I have not heard from Gramma in a coon's age...and I don't know I haven't seen anything from Joonie all day.  They are probably shopping together.?

Well Katie has talked to her more than I have, but she's been through a pretty rough go, but I think she is doing better now.  I don't know about Joonie, other than she said she was going to start taking her meds again, and when she first started them last time they made her sleep a lot.

I'm calling it a night too, I just remembered I didn't nap today

She needs that sleep...I think she was going on nothin'

Is it because of the Remicade or is she still flaring?

OH thanks Karen I was a bit worried. Good night

Goodnight Miss Queen bee!G'nite mona!  Get lots of sound sleep and be ready for tomorrow night!Goodnite , its been a long day and have to be up by 6AM yep, it's time!  Night Mew, night Shelly!Good night Mew and Karen...have a quiet nights rest!

Diphenhydramine = benadryl.  Sudafed (pseudoephedrine) can rev you up a bit; in most people, a couple of benadryl (unisom) will counteract that and knock you out.  As with all drugs, some people have unusual reactions.  Benadryl (unisom) can actually cause hyperexitability in children; ibuprofen has caused psychotic splits with reality.

Try the sudafed once or twice more; if it still gives you problems, I have two words for you:
