Alot to catch up on -OT | Arthritis Information

I just don't have the time to catch up on what has been going on here. I went to Nova Scotia this weekend with my son for a baseball tournament. They got knocked out in the third game but we had a blast. The ride (12 hours) wasn't to bad, thanks to Tramadol. It definately took the edge off.

When I got home I found out my father has a large mass in his bladder and that has been causing his bleeding for the last couple of months. They are going to do radiation, hoping to shrink it a bit, and stop, or at least slow down, the bleeding. Or else he will literally bleed to death. He has been suffering with lung cancer for over a year now, and this has just made things so much harder, for all of us.

Well, I'm going to try to read a few posts before I start work. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Debbie, so sorry to hear your news, I hope and pray that you will all have the strength to deal with whatever life throws at you, it sucks at times, keep well, Janie.

Glad you and your son had fun.

Hugs on your dad.

Pip

Debbie. does he have bladder cancer also?lorster39330.3922337963

Thanks for the warm wishes.

Yes, we are pretty sure it's cancer in his bladder as well. There is a large, bleeding mass there. They did a biopsy, and we get the results tomorrow. But today he is already having a consultation about radiation. He'll probably have treatments once a day, monday thru friday, for 7 weeks.

Dear Deb, welcome back! I am sorry to hear about your father. I hope everything is ok. Love, JuliahSorry to hear about your dad.  Love and hugs.

Hi Deb, It's good to hear from you again. I'm so sorry about your Dad. Radiation treatments every day for 7 weeks sounds like a lot for him to go through. Is the lung cancer inoperable?

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your Dad and your family. I hope the treatments aren't too bad for him.

Hugs, Nini
