Humira question (again, sorry!) | Arthritis Information

Hello everyone again :) I've not been around much as I've been terribly busy with family, and also preparing to start studying again in a few weeks time (retraining as a dentist!)

Anyhow, I started Humira last month. Just had my 3rd shot and TBH its amazing. 2 weeks after the first shot the inflammatory markers in my blood were almost normal!

BUT, I have been getting slight pins and needles in my left hand and foot. This started after the 2nd shot and it comes and goes. Has anyone else experienced this?

Orion...don't ever be sorry to ask a question.

I have those sensations even when I am not on a biologic.  For me it is swelling and position...maybe neuropothy...can only handle one thing at a time.

I do not know the answer to that, because it is so normal for me anyway.  I only took four doses of Humira as well.

Thanks Shelly :)

I guess i was apologising as the last time I posted about Humira,I was having a major hypochondrial moment about the MS risk! I think I'm a bit calmer this time.....
Aha, I have found it here in a list of possible side effects, right near the bottom. It seems to be pretty rare and they've said to seek medical assistance if it persists.

I also get the tight muscle feeling and my joints flare slightly after injections.Other than that its perfect! Its weird how our bodies react in different ways to the same drug!
