I've thought the same thing about Boots! Even the name sounds like a drag queen. Don't tell Jerry Falwell - wait he died. I'm sure there is another evangelist out there looking for some publicity, though.

OMG!! Sponge Bob... well I just do not get that cartoon. I know SIL & her hubby LOVE to watch that cartoon. I am thinking only stoners like to watch Sponge Bob, but then again my 74 year old MOTHER watches it and she ain't no stoner
Now give me BackYardigans or Wonder Pets any day. But sometimes I STILL have to wonder about the Wonder Pets. I mean one show they were cleaning a baby allegators teeth... you know that in REAL life they would have been baby gator food and that would have been the end of Ming-Ming, Tuck and Lenny too!

Yeah... Wonder Pets is pretty cool. But as of lately we have not been waking up in time to watch it 3 times only once if I remember it is on. We are big Dora fans. Many of my sons' classmates are either from Mexico or their parents are from Mexico. Everyone around here loves Dora.Hey - Whoaaaaa, there missy!
That Dora rocks! A strong woman in a male dominated cartoon market! She knows where she is going and can guide others! Boots is OK, just your typical sidekick. And see, she can handle weasel-y types like Swiper with aplomb!
Our family is the proud owner of the new and improved Dora the Explorer back-to-school-back-pack with detachable BackPack lunch bag!
And Sponge Bob also rocks! I see you are new to the Sponge Bob scene - as evidenced by last years brouhaha at the Spirit Awards where Robin Williams made mincemeat of the 'Patrick and SpongeBob are gay because they hold hands' moral majority outpouring! Newbies are always thrown by the subtle nuances of a sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea. That threw me for a loooong time.

OMG!! I just got a flash back of when we went to the Thrift Store and there was this HUGE purple dinosaur, kinda looked like Barney, EXCEPT he bore sharp teeth and he looked like he had a hangover from the night before when Boots and Diego, hooked him up with Swiper... yeah I think Barney was PISSED because we all know what Swiper is, and well.... it is not what Boots & Diego promised. As Swiper hid his balls. *opps*
