HI guys, I just did something really stupid, I had my Sunday pillbox next to my evening meal and took my tablets and then looked at the box and saw that the evening doses were still there!!!!!!!!  Alarm bells rang and then I realised I refilled my weekly pillbox this am after taking my am dose for Sunday.  Anyway I phoned my girlfriend who is a nurse and she said I had better phone the poisons hotline.

My blood pressure tablet may cause dizziness/fainting on standing, and will make me want to go to the toilet frquently during the night.  My antidepressant will make me either really drowsy or unable to sleep!!!!

No real harm done, 20mg of pred is going to make me feel great though, every cloud has a silver lining.

My vagueness has been getting a lot worse and I am doing lots of silly things lately, I really hate the brain fog.  Thanks for reading and be careful with your meds, love Janie. Brain fog really sucks, doesn't it. I so relate.  Hi Janie, I have done the same thing only a few weeks ago. I ended up taking my morning tablets twice so i had taken two arava tabs two 200mg tramadol . i called my rheumy and she said i should be ok with the two arava and i was pretty dizzy from the 2 tramadol but i was ok. i have been a lot more careful since that happened. the brain fog is terrible. the other night i was so fatigued. i was feeding my cat and making a coffee at the same time . well stupid me put cat food in my coffee cup. my son will never let me forget it. he thinks it hillarious.Dear Janie, I hope you are doing ok and only sufferering the good side effects :) Love, JuliahDon't feel too bad.  I'm sure many here have done the same thing and I know it's only a matter of time before I goof too.  It's inevitable, we're taking so many drugs and many of us have complicated schedules how can we not mess up once in a while?  I'm glad it's not too serious a problem for you.

Janie I hope you are alright and don't get sick, Jesse was right it is inevitable with how many drugs we take. take care

BEST WISHES

Hubby recently took 2 BP meds and whoooo hoo was he dizzy

I fill my weekly pill box and keep it on my nightstand so I can take it first thing in the morning upon waking and I rest and play with my critters until I am able to get up. It has happend twice where I took morning meds instead of night time ones. They are basically the same except for my ambien. Both times I realized it after being up wandering the house til five am. I then took my am meds and my ambien and slept until noon. I am MUCH more careful now....

It must be an epidemic lately--one of my good friends accidentally took 2 pills for his blood pressure instead of his last dose of antibiotics and passed out at his son's doctor appointment. And here I just suggested that he get a pill box...guess that's not as foolproof as it sounds! Jane, I hope you are feeling better today. :)

Hi, I was taking pred 3 pills a day and 1 lasix. Well, the pill containers are exactly same and the pills look the same. I stopped , for some reason before reversing the pills. no preds and 3 lasix's would have been interesting. It is scary to think of what could happen with really serious meds like pain pills. Lynda I screwed up a couple of weeks ago and took my nighttime benadryls way before bed... I was at a school board meeting!  Whoops!  Damn near fell out of my chair.
