How did the surgery go?  Not sure if you mentioned it somewhere and I missed it.   Hope all went well.

It went very well, thank you for asking.  The procedure was a long one, 6 hrs. and the ortho said that he found more damage than he expected but was very pleased with the reconstruction that he did.  He replaced my knuckles with synthetic ones and fused and straightened out my thumb and removed a very big nodule.  I'm still wrapped up and i'll go this Friday to get the stitches out and start rehab.  I will be wearing daytime and nightime splints for about 3-4 mos. to straighten my fingers and "retrain" the muscles not to sway off to the side.  The pain has been manageable with Lortab and really hasn't been as bad as I'd expected.  Doing things one-handed has been quite a challenge.   I can't wait to see and show you guys some pics of my "new" hand.

Thank You everyone for your well wishes before my surgery.  It truly helped and is helping with my recovery!

Glad everything went well....sounds really interesting.  I'm looking forward to seeing the results!

Thanks for the update, Binge
