Hello,
I am a producer casting for a photo shoot for people with RA. I am
looking for people with VISIBLE signs of RA in his or her hands for an ad
for an RA drug. The images will be of hands only - no faces.
I am looking for eight interested candidates.

The shoot will be this Monday, Sept 17 in Manhattan, New York (Hell's
Kitchen area) and will probably take about an hour, and will pay 0
cash, you wil be paid on the same day. Models will need to sign a release
for all usage.

Please contact me if interested, and I will provide additional details on the
drug that the ad is for, photographer, location, timing etc. Please feel free
to forward my contact info or to call me with any questions.

All the best,
Marian Walsh

Shouldn't you be using people who actually have experience with that drug? You mean the people in these ads aren't actually on these medications

I would like to talk to the people at Enbrel and Humira about their commercials.  No offense to any drug company, but it would cost me more to get to the site for the commercial than it pays, plus it sounds as though you may not have any rights for future ads....dunno. I  don't think I would be a good candidate cause I just have really expensive scars that you can barely see because the hand surgeon did such a wonderful job in restructuring all my tendons in both hands.

I am assumming that they want hands that are truly and extensively knarled.... I am  sure there are plenty of those around!

My hands were in documentary on disabilities and the use of disability adaptive technology one time while I was a student at Ball State University ( it was a  CNN thing ).I would not let them take my pic though.

Good question concerning any and all commercials...have any of the people in the ads  ever use the product? I know when I go to CA next week to see the great nephew Ggabe and the new baby, I am gonna ask them if Gabe ever uses the products before he does the commercials.

Jode

Jode~ what commercials has he been in?  Any national ads?

Did anyone ever see that Brady Bunch where the Brady's were going to be in a commercial for laundry soap?  Turned out that the soap they were advertising wasn't the soap they liked best so they didn't do it.  That's another lesson in personal integrity brought to you by Mike and Carol. It was the funnies thing. She was about 18months old and she could not figure out why she had to sit for an hour and take pictures with this little boy she's never seen before in her whole life.

I remember that episode too!

Yep, our Gabey baby ( now musy call him Gabe but for movies and commercials he is Gabreon)

So far he hasa movie directed by Will Smith that is coming out in November I think and 3 or 4 commercials but that changes every week.

Disney, Little Tykes....a Christmas Special for Gabba Gabba on Nogin and ahhh I can't remember the others. You may see a clip of one he did for Disney that his dad put on utube........I will see if I can post it here. Otherwise PM me and I can tell you what to type in. That commercial is only in CA and a few others out there I think.....it has not gone completely national yet that I know of...he is a cutie and the directors like him because he " Brilliant "" ( of course he IS AFTERALL MY GREAT NEPHEW *winkwink*) ( jokin)...... actually they like him because he is extremely well behaved, very handsome with a great personality.....and simply because he is basically the only child that remembers all of his lines but also everyone elses lines......That is Gabe, he has been like that since he could sign and talk.

The photographs will be of hands only - and the ads don't claim that the
hand in the photo is of someone on the drug (in fact, they are looking for
people whose hands look particularly bad). So no, you need not be on the
drugs to be eligible.

The shoot will take between 1/2 hour and an hour, and no faces will be
visible, so the 0 cash is not a particularly low rate for this type of thing.
(though it's obviously not worth it if you live far away, etc.)

Thanks,
Marian
