Way OT: question about videos | Arthritis Information

My sis and I have been going through all my video tapes I have made of the kids and her grandbabies over the years in preparation of the "new baby" ( C-section will bring the newest member into our family this Saturday... a little girl, my sis finally gets to buy pink and lots of bows and dolls!)

In the process of trying to edit ect. and to see what tapes I need to take to show Gabe  ( all the footage I have of him when he was a baby)anyway, through all this we found tons of footage that I took of Tim ( my ex fiance") and his kids, his nephews, my kids, the dogs, cats, trees, each season of each year of course..yadayadayada. You name it I always had the video camera out.

I do not know what to do with all the movies. DO I offer to send them to him? ask him if he wants any of it? or just forget about it and transfer them and give them all to my daughter ( she is on quite a bit of them as well of course)  toss 'em, keep 'em??????I just dunno.

I managed to document our lives quite well, but we are not together and haven't been for a few years now and never speak.......maybe the "new gal" wouldn't want them, maybe he has no interest, maybe I shouldn't even offer them........I just do not know what is proper and what I should do.

All thoughts and/or suggestions are welcomed!

I think what I'd do is keep them for now.  Then later as your daughter is older and will appreciate them, give them to her.  Since she's in most of the videos, let her decide what she wants to do with them.  Right now they might not mean much to her...but let's say 10-20 years down the road she may really enjoy them and one day pass them down to her children.

II had been thinking that as well, you just sort of placed it into a perspective for me. You are so right. I will allow her to decide, afterall it was he rlife as well.

Thankyou!
